It’s a reward
Recently I can’t find myself finishing anything. It’s all overwhelming and my motivation is at an all time low - so I decided to use behavioral psychology and promise myself a reward. In the end, I rewarded myself with Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier for writing an email I was putting off.
At first, I had some regret about it - was it worth it? I never smelled the original version, so there’s nothing to compare it too, but the performance felt lacking and the scent wasn’t popping as I wanted it to.
After a couple of days, though, like magic, it grew on me. Sugary anise and a cherry that sometimes smells like plum and something green. Not quite a forest fairy, but maybe the one that lives inside your home and steals your jam. Alternatively, Arietty - it is a sort of perfume that seems to go well with improvised small utensils made for creatures the size of your thumb. Stays on clothing for a while, and it is a nice scent to fall asleep to.
Not too harsh, perfect for the late summer/early autumn.
Usually cute, sometimes too cheap
It’s generally cute, but I find that at times it can feel unbearably synthetic and cheap. It really depends on the day! But on days it’s good, it’s a nice, fresh, sweet melony candy scent.
It evaporates quickly at least, so on days it bothers me I don’t have to deal with it for too long :)
Super inexpensive and worth checking if you like hello kitty for the vibes.
