It’s not often that I perceive a fragrance on someone, immediately ask what it is, and then rush to the store the next day to buy it. But with Hédonisme from the clothing brand MANGO, that was the case. It may not be a masterpiece, not a loud fragrance that jumps from note to note, not a cry for attention. But this fragrance makes me happy, and that has to be enough. I feel good when I spray it. I feel light when I spray it. I feel clean when I spray it.

This is a fragrance for feeling good, which can also be very seductive depending on the situation and the person, if you want it to be. This is a scent that you really enjoy smelling on someone, especially on a summer evening, in spring, or in early autumn.

With this fragrance, you feel as if you are wrapped in cotton. No, you feel as if you are lying on a cloud. On a cloud that smells of flowers and clean freshness.

Imagine that typical smell of rain that everyone knows. This rain scent in a very soft and not so intense form forms the base. On this base lies the scent of fresh, clean flowers. Maybe a bit hard to imagine, but that’s how I perceive this fragrance, without paying too much attention to the rain scent.

When I first smelled it, it was clear to me that it is a unisex fragrance. Now, after longer use, I would still claim that, but this fragrance definitely leans towards the feminine side. I like to wear it when I simply want to feel good without being extremely loud, although the sillage is very good in the first 2-3 hours. I can smell it on my clothes for at least the whole day, sometimes even the next day.

If you like floral and clean scents, you should definitely test this fragrance in a MANGO store.

Sure, we probably all want inner and outer beauty. We wish for it for ourselves and for our surroundings. The Détour Noir is not visually appealing, but what’s inside is incredibly beautiful. You spray it and perceive the fruity scent of apple and the floral freshness of jasmine. A little lavender sneaks in and blends in nicely. These components remain, but after a very short time, a soft, smoky spiciness makes itself known. It doesn’t sting, it doesn’t scratch, it simply lays gently on you and gives off a feeling of lightness.

It really comes down to the inner values, and Détour Noir has them. Do you want to feel comfortable, seductive, modern, light, and self-confident? Then you can reach for the unattractive bottle. It doesn’t matter whether you want to wear it at work, for a party, on a date, at the gym, in the evening, or during the day. Just spray it on whenever you feel like it. The Détour Noir is an incredibly great companion for any situation. I’ve received compliments while working out, but also in a bar over a beer.

You don’t fill a room with it, you don’t steal anyone’s fresh air, but you will definitely be noticed. Positively noticed. I really can’t imagine anyone not liking this scent. It doesn’t cause headaches, it’s not too loud. It’s soft, beautifully spicy, and full of style.

On clothing, the longevity is immeasurable. Sprayed on the shirt on Monday, still there on Wednesday when putting on the same shirt. However, this doesn’t apply to the sillage, which is completely sufficient, and at this price, you can gladly apply a bit more or re-spray. Even with 8-10 sprays, I didn’t feel like I was suffocating in this scent.

All in all, an unappealing exterior with a very beautiful core and an incredible price-performance ratio.

A fragrance that makes you crave a warm cocoa at home after the walk, to simply enjoy this beautiful day, this wonderful feeling. After the cocoa, you head out again. With friends into the city. The weather is still just as beautiful as during the walk. You sit outside together, maybe on a bench, and every time a little breeze comes, you notice how Wanted by Night makes its appearance again. You go into a shop to buy a drink. Upon leaving the shop, the sliding door opens and there it is again, the slightly cool wind that greets you and swirls your fragrance. From the warm stop in the shop back to the cool fresh air. That’s what Wanted by Night does so well. This interplay between indoors and outdoors, between warmth and coolness.

Later, in the bar, as it slowly begins to get dark and the day dips into evening twilight, the fragrance is still noticeable. This feeling, this atmosphere, the softly muted chatter, the laughter, the glasses, all merge with it. It remains present without being intrusive.

So the day comes to an end. You fall into bed, the memories of the day still fresh in your mind, while a gentle remnant of the fragrance lingers on your skin.
