Rhubarb of my dreams
I think this is the rhubarb white whale scent I've been searching for. It's sweet but doesn't cancel out the tartness, and the jammy green fig is a delicious complement. The woodiness hits me before the fruity elements, on the skin test. The violet dries down and reveals a lovely creamy base. I'm obsessed with this and it feels like Indigo by NEST's outgoing sister. Got a good 8 hours of this before fading to a skin scent.

Most complimented perfume
I wore my sample to work and errands afterwards, and have never been complimented on my smell so much. It feels like a TikTok gotcha line, but I'm not selling anything. This trumps Crème de Clementine by NEST as most-complimented. It's creamy without being suffocated, spicy, and green. I got 7 hours out of my sample sprays. The touch of jasmine keeps everything in balance. Trying to stand by my no-buy January but this may break me.

Curl conditioner cream and loving it
Juicy mango, a balance of florals and fruits. Perfectly grounded by the woody blends. A top contender for my Zoologist full bottle. The mango opens up beautifully (I read it as a melon or apricot but nevertheless juicy and delicious). This is very subtle and not overly sweet. This smells like a hair product on paper but I love it!

Swing and a fish, I mean miss
Swing and a fish, I mean miss for Zoologist, but I'll always give them kudos for trying unique things. I get briny fishy moss. The gunpowder and sandalwood does weirdly work for me, but I'm struggling with the ginger. It and the jasmine blanket the other notes I was excited about, namely the saffron and immortelle. Poseidon would wear this.

Sweet fruit, woody, and a kiss of sour
Sweet fruit, woody, and a kiss of sour. I've been on the hunt for a rhubarb perfume and a saffron perfume (separately) and I somehow found one with both notes. This is voted majority sweet but to me it's a fruity sweet. The rhubarb adds a little bite. I am not a fan of patchouli or suede, and I'm glad to see these be background players in this layered, delicate balance. I'm picking up lipstick somewhere (one of my favorite notes), and that's a pleasant surprised. This feels like a floral Kimono by d'Annam.

This perfume to me is a magenta/purple (hex code #DD29F2 specifically). The price looks good, but it's only available in 100ml bottles so some more tests required.
