According to Philosophy, Pure Grace EDT has notes of neroli, bergamot, lavender, lemon, orange blossom, jasmine, water lily, rose, lily of the valley, and musk. Upon first spray, I was immediately greeted by a familiar scent - Nivea cream! Pure Grace smells exactly like Nivea Cream. It’s creamy, cold, clean, and sharp, and even captures a bit of the metallic scent of that iconic blue tin. Pure Grace wears in a linear fashion, and the scent has not changed over time at all to me. I’ve owned my bottle since July of 2025.

On my first wear I only wore one spray, and Pure Grace had light projection with moderate longevity (five hours). On the first couple of wears that followed, I would throw on 4-5 sprays of Pure Grace before running errands or doing house chores (Pure Grace is my official spring and summer errand fragrance!). Projection was moderate with 4-5 sprays, and longevity increased from five hours to 7-8 hours.

After a couple of weeks of regular wear, I noticed that it seemed stronger than before and have since limited the amount of Pure Grace that I spray back to 1-3 sprays. To this day, projection is moderate with 1-3 sprays and strong with more.

Pure Grace is long-lasting on skin and extremely long-lasting on clothes! It lasts on clothes until they are washed, and if you put on 3-4 sprays on the same shirt or hoodie two or more times in one week, it’ll last through the wash!

According to the Kayali and Sephora websites, Musk Santal has notes of bergamot, pink pepper, mandarin, sweet freesia, soft lily, lavender, musk Santal, candied amber, vetiver, and the Kayali signature accord.

Musk Santal opens with a sweet, fruity scent reminiscent of Trident Tropical Twist gum, and an amber note that I quickly went anosmic to. It's got that loud-but-also-I-can't-smell-it ambroxan thing going on that gives me headaches and I could quickly feel my head starting to hurt. Musk Santal also has this strange, synthetic, spicy scent to it that I struggle to place. To this day, I cannot describe it.

Additionally, Musk Santal smells strongly of deep, loud oud. I was really surprised to see there was no oud note listed! It reminds me a lot of the oud/akigalawood note in Angel Nova, but dialed up to 1,000. Unfortunately, Musk Santal has resulted in a splitting headache every time I’ve tried to wear it. I always end up scrubbing it off. I’ve tried to wear it four times, and it’s been the same thing every time - a head and nose filled with the equivalent of the piercing wails of screaming banshees and a desperate dash to the dresser for the oil necessary for swift and efficient removal!

According to the Kayali and Sephora websites, Musk Bouquet has notes of solar jasmine, Ylang-ylang, pink pepper, Turkish rose, vanilla musk, praline, sandalwood, vetiver, and the Kayali signature accord. Musk Bouquet is a nice, classic floral with a sunscreen flair. Unfortunately, the jasmine note is just not the kind of jasmine that I get along with. It’s too indolic for my tastes, and starts going from lush to… rank.

Musk Bouquet opens with a loud, lush jasmine note and creamy Ylang-ylang with a tinge of a sunscreen scent. Quickly, a grand explosion of bright, aldehydic, clean, powdery, and soapy vanilla musk bursts forth like a mushroom cloud of vanilla scented body powder that causes sheets of white musk floral soap to rain from the sky as debris. At the start, Musk Bouquet reminds me so much of Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds, but softer.

Despite this promising start, in the first hour of wear, I start catching whiffs of something foul and nauseating. Confused, I sniff the air and realize oh my, it’s me!!!! I recognize that scent. It’s the sort of jasmine that I strongly dislike. The sort of jasmine that makes my stomach turn inside out. Yes indeed, the jasmine in Musk Bouquet is too indolic for my tastes. I ended up having to scrub Musk Bouquet off. Unfortunately, every time I have tried to revisit Musk Bouquet, the fragrance has met the same fate - aggressively scrubbed off my skin with the nearest oil and a paper towel.

According to the Kayali and Sephora websites, Musk Latte has notes of bergamot, pink pepper, mandarin, cinnamon, caffè latte, Turkish rose, lavender, cypriol, cedarwood, sandalwood, chocolate musk, and the Kayali signature accord. Musk Latte is my favorite of the Musk collection, and has quickly become one of my favorite fragrances. It’s a soft milky, warm, spicy, sweet, and woody dream that envelops the skin like the coziest cashmere sweater.

On my first wear, Musk Latte opened up with a strong pink pepper note that made me want to sneeze. For the first few hours, it smelled like when you're decanting spices into your spice rack containers - just a mix of a whole bunch of spices and aromatics, and the scent of wooden cabinets. It was surprisingly savory smelling. Eventually, it became creamy, milky, and sweet, with a vague spicy scent.

On later wears, Musk Latte still opened with a symphony of spices, aromatics, and woody notes. When it comes to spices, it mostly smells like pink pepper and to my nose, chili powder and cayenne. When it comes to aromatics, I wouldn’t have guessed lavender. I don’t get lavender at all. I would’ve guessed sage or bay leaf. However, on later wears, Musk Latte quickly dries down to a sweet, spicy, creamy, milky scent!

Furthermore, I began to pick up the chocolate on later wears, and I have consistently picked up the chocolate since then! It reminds me of a Mexican hot chocolate made with a single packet of premade Mexican hot chocolate mix (Nestle’s Abuelita Mexican hot chocolate mix comes to mind!) and extra cayenne pepper and chili powder. So, Musk Latte doesn’t smell super chocolatey. It smells like sweetened milk and spices (pink pepper, chili powder, and cayenne) with a very light chocolate scent, with gentle woody and musky nuances.

Musk Latte is an intimate skin scent with one spray that I can smell with my wrist 1-3 inches away from my nose, and lasts about six hours. With three sprays, Musk Latte has moderate projection and creates a lovely, cozy scent bubble around me that I catch whiffs of as I move about. When I wear three sprays of Musk Latte, I get eleven hours of longevity! So, it’s very long-lasting. For the first seven hours, projection is moderate and I catch whiffs as I move about. In the final four hours, Musk Latte is an intimate skin scent that I have to put my nose very close to my skin (and in the last hour on my skin) to smell. My favorite way to wear Musk Latte is applying three sprays on my left wrist/forearm and dabbing it onto my right wrist/forearm. Sometimes I like to dab it on either side of my neck as well. It’s such a cozy fragrance!

According to the back of the sampler set box, Cherry Crush has notes of buttercream and cherry. Cherry Crush is a powdery, boozy, fruity, and rosy scent that smells like amaretto liqueur, maraschino cherries, heart shaped cherry lollipops, baby powder, and red roses. It definitely reminds me of a much, much, much softer, more delicate, and sweeter version of Fine’ry Not Another Cherry. As the fragrance dries down, the cherry note becomes sweeter and starts smelling candy sweet, like heart-shaped cherry lollipops, and loses that syrupy maraschino cherry scent as it dries down.

There is a slight waxiness to Cherry Crush - like cherry chapstick, and it also smells like lipstick. The soft powderiness, velvety red rose, and musk serve as a lovely backdrop for the candied, lipstick-y cherry note, creating a pretty, flirty fruity floral perfect for Valentine’s Day! This one is my second favorite out of the sampler set. I don’t get buttercream from this fragrance at all and never have.

It’s very light and I have to put my nose to my skin to smell it. One spray is a super light and delicate skin scent, and lasts for about two hours. If I spray about 15 to 20 times total on skin, clothes, and in a cloud and walk through it, I can get it to project moderately for about four hours before it settles into a skin scent again for the remaining two hours of its wear time.

If I spray less than that, it may project moderately for an hour or two but then quickly settles into intimate projection again. Unfortunately, the sprayer started acting faulty toward the end of my sample. I was still able to get all of the juice out though!
