Is "You Or Someone Like You" from ELDO a blind buy?

Hey, summer is coming and I would love to buy a new scent for the occasion. I looked after some green/floral frangrances and then found "You Or Someone Like You" from ELDO. The thing is that the stores around me don't have any bottle that I could try. Is it a blind buy ? If not, do you have any recommendation for a floral summer time fragrance (unisex and not too expensive, being a student is harsh 😅). Thanks !

I would caution that anything from ELDO is not a safe blind buy - as their fragrances can have some pretty unique, or potentially "off-putting", notes. 😅

I don't have a good "blind-buy-friendly" green floral recommendation, but hopefully someone else will for you! 

Eau de Rochas (2015) is very affordable (only online, I've never seen it in a physical store lately), There's a male version aswel, but many men prefer this one. It's lovely and, though marketed towards women, totally unisex!

Another very good cheapy is 1881 pour Homme (2005) Eau de Toilette

I would say it's safe, but the herbal/fresh notes are more prominent to some people?  If you like the brand, I would really recommend getting a sample pack from their site, pick 4 and take your time with them.  I think they give you a discount code for a full or half (50mL) bottle.

You Or Someone Like You" is definitely a solid choice if you’re into fresh, green, and slightly minty scents! It’s crisp, clean, and has that airy summer vibe without being too heavy or sweet. That being said, blind buying can be risky, especially since ELDO fragrances tend to have a unique twist. If you like uplifting, herbal, and slightly citrusy scents, it could work—but if you're after something more floral-forward, it might not be the best fit.

Since you're on a budget, have you checked out Atelier Cologne’s "Clémentine California" or Hermès’ "Un Jardin sur le Nil"? Both are fresh, unisex, and great for summer without breaking the bank. Also, if you want a green floral with some depth, "Déclaration Haute Fraîcheur" from Cartier might be worth sampling.
