Classic/familiar non-perfume scents 1

Hello Parfumo folks!

I'm wondering if we have among us anyone with a nuanced enough nose to talk about what scent notes / aroma chems are used in familiar, non-perfume products like Dial Gold soap or Downy fabric softener, for example?

Yes! Dial Gold smells like aldehydes and harsh laundry musk to me.

I found an old thread about Dial Gold Soap :

Maybe it can help.

@WestienoseTomato Leaf "Tomato | Demeter Fragrance Library / The Library Of Fragrance" are supposed to be quite realistic.

If you specifically mean products with added fragrance, there is something in nearly all fragrance-added household cleaners, laundry soaps, etc. that are sold in the grocery store that I literally have an asthma/allergy attack if I go down that aisle without a good mask on. Before it became a thing to wear masks I used to hold my breath! Which is hard for me as an asthmatic. Now of course I can get delivery, instead, another perk created by 2020.
