Absolutely loving this ambery, spicy vibe! Perfect for nights out - Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Parfum and Dior Homme Intense (2011) are fire choices.

Tolu Eau de Parfum

L'Air de Rien

Hi!

Both definitely do sound really interesting!

Best regards

I am already familiar with "Tolu (Eau de Parfum) | Ormonde Jayne," but I have not heard of "L'Air de Rien | Miller Harris." Would you be so kind as to describe it?

best regards

Of course, it smells like pages of old books in a library. It has a slightly vanillic, powdery, ambery character, with hints of oakmoss and patchouli that add herbal nuances and earthy touches. It feels like a room filled with antique furniture and books, yet it's very wearable and cozy. I think only the opening might be slightly challenging for some people, as it smells a bit animalic for about 10 minutes or so.

I also have more recommendations. Le Lion de Chanel and Byzantine Amber Extrait de Parfum would be right up your alley, too, I think.

Hi! Thank you for you for your answer! Does Byzantine Amber Extrait de Parfum have a leathery touch?

Best regards

Yes, it’s leathery, with the typical Bianchi DNA. If you don’t want a leathery amber, just skip straight to Le Lion. It's less overtly leathery than many labdanum-heavy ambers and is similar to Byzantine Amber. Although I think many amber fragrances can come across as leathery because of labdanum, which has naturally leathery facets. The traditional amber structure is essentially vanilla + benzoin + labdanum.

Ohhhh, it's pretty interesting. I didn't know it, thanks to the enlightenment.

So Byzantine Amber Extrait de Parfum isn't particularly leathery, but it may come across this way due to labdanum?

best regards

Ambra may meet your need.

Hm, I indeed have never heard about that one, yet it sounds very nice!

Would you please discribe it?
