Hii everyone ! ♡

I'm Paola and I'm going to be 22 years old in exactly 2 days ahah Wink I'm from Belgium and have been into this hobby for 3 to 4 years and *not surprisingly* have a sweet tooth. I recently switched to cleaner and more flowery perfumes and absolutely love where I'm going the more I grow into this hobby.

I'm currently a student at uni and apart from collecting and trying perfumes I really enjoy simple things : vinyl, music, movies, going shopping and buy cute accessories.

-- 6 more things about me that I absolutely love : MY CATS !! , Victoria's Secret, Scented lipglosses, Swarovski, Ariana Grande, watching old Hollywood glam movies. --

I haven't managed to know anyone yet on this platform so I'm open to new friendships or moots ! Have a good day all . ⭐︎

Hi, everyone! Television here, but you can call me by my first name, Brent! I'm in my early twenties and currently in medical school. I still live at home with my parents for now, since commuting to my university doesn't take too long. And living at home at my age certainly has its advantages, such as being able to carelessly spend my hard-earned money on frivolous things like clothing and fragrances 😆

I've been interested in fragrances since I was a young teen, although I used to be somewhat ashamed of it. At the time, I felt like wearing perfume was more of a "girl thing." Even so, I wore perfume all the time. What a stupid teenager I was! I remember going shopping with my dad for a perfume at the airport duty-free shop every time we went on vacation, just before boarding the plane. Around a year ago, when my bottle of Y Eau de Parfum was running out of juice, I started looking for a new bottle to replace the old one I had bought with my dad when it first came out in 2018. That was when I read something about the newer batches supposedly having been reformulated. I did a little more research, and that was the moment I fell down the rabbit hole. A whole new world opened up to me! I started digging deeper and discovered all kinds of brands I had never even heard of before. I also came across this amazing website, and I've been lurking around here for about a year now. I started secretly testing some of my dad's fragrances, including his bottle of Opium pour Homme Eau de Toilette 🫣 He absolutely loves that perfume! He has been desperately looking for a new bottle, and he was gutted to find out that one of his favorite fragrances had been discontinued. As a result, he barely uses that bottle anymore and cherishes every drop he has left. That's partly why I finally decided to make an account here, not only to learn more about fragrances and participate in this community, but also to keep an eye on the Souk in the hope of finding a new bottle and surprising my dad with it. For now, I want to take things slowly. I'm planning to try several sample kits, one at a time, from some of the brands I've discovered over the past year. I want to broaden my horizons and discover scents I wouldn't normally gravitate toward. I've already got my eye on several bottles, but I don't want to overconsume, so I'm trying to take my time and enjoy the journey!

Aside from fragrance, I'm very passionate about fashion. I love designers such as Lee McQueen, Martin Margiela, and Rick Owens. And, of course, the Antwerp Six, especially Ann Demeulemeester and Walter Van Beirendonck! I know Hedi Slimane isn't all that popular, but his work resonates with me on a very personal level. In my free time, I love to read or just vibe to music, mostly '70s and '80s rock and metal. I'm also big on running, and working out in general!

I'm looking forward to learning more about the wonderful world of fragrance, and hopefully I'll meet some lovely people along the way! Maybe even make a few friends. I didn't expect this introduction to turn into such a long post 😅 If you made it to the end, I really appreciate it!

Have a great one, everyone!

Hey everyone, happy to be here 🫶

My name Zinaida and fragrances is big part in my life, has been a hobby of mine since childhood, and was a very long time ago , I’m pretty old 😅

I’ve lived in several different countries over the years, but my collection has always come with me. Last ten years I’m live near by Lisbon Portugal

Over the past few years I’ve been getting more and more into fragrances from 2000-2010 period , not vintage yet but will be soon 😅

I might also be interested in swapping decants, since there’s no way I could ever use everything I have , while my curiosity and desire to discover new fragrances is still going strong.

Really happy to have found such a great community where I can chat with beautiful people and share passion for fragrances.
Cheers 🥂

Hi all,

Stu here. Delighted to join the community of like minded enthusiasts.

Over the last year or two, I’ve reignited a passion for scents that I’ve had since I was a teenager and my collection - bottles and decants - is over 100.

Fahrenheit Eau de Toilette was my og love as a teenager with a lot of time for L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Eau de Toilette and many other classic scents.

I found my way back into the hobby through some really rich winter scents that my friend was wearing and a surprise couple of travel sized gifts of Paradigme Eau de Parfum and Ombré Leather (2018) Eau de Parfum … since then the collection has grown to what it is now.

Current obsessions include marine/salt notes (inspired by a love for Le Sel d'Issey Eau de Parfum and finding the perfect fall scent for my skin. Most recent acquisition is Ganymede Eau de Parfum .

Big fan of Quentin Bisch.

Would love people to follow / message / connect with me!

Happy sniffing! ❤️

Hello Parfumo!

I am discovering fragrances after 25 years of self-imposed avoidance. I am lost in scents and memories and atmosphere and enjoying every bit of it.

Found my way back to fragrance via beard oils, particularly a Palo Santo scent. I am exploring Calle Ocho Extrait de Parfum and Gris Charnel Eau de Parfum . Started with the idea of finding a signature scent, and quickly realized that wasn't gonna happen, so now just exploring what I like.

Happy to have found you all!

Ahoy, hoy!

My name's Lucas Yves (he/they), I am German-French, living near Düsseldorf, in my Mid-30s, studied music and film and am currently training to be an educator for special needs kids.
I like hiking, dancing, concerts, the cinema, boardgames, zine making, queer activism, spooky stuff, cats and d&d.

When it comes to perfume: I love all things earthy, herby, smoky, spicy, balsamic, heady white florals, incense, damp and dank notes. But I also enjoy "discovering" anything that's a bit unusual. I am a firm believer in perfume being genderless. Due my budget I end up exploring lots of older perfumes that have found ther way into the german drug stores.
I have a soft spot for oil based fragrances, the kind you'd find at a goth festival, most likely with a healthy dose of patchouli.

Today I am wearing  Lancaster - Eau de Concentrée. An odd choice for August, but I am trying to summon autumn by wearing it.
Happy to be here! Smile

Hi guys,

My name is Steven. I'm from Belgium.
Although a year active on parfumo, I only just started using the forum.
My deep interest into fragrance really started late although I do use "some" fragrance since teenage years.
Born in the 80ties , I'm quite a child of the 90ties 🙌, so the gourmand bubble gum hype really is far away from my taste.
Aromatic, fresh, classy aquatic, woody are winners.

Recently I started experimenting with DIY perfumes.
My wife uses a perfume I mixed now. So that's something.

On to great discoveries!

Hi, my name is Michelle.  I am new to this forum and am really enjoying myself.  I have recently re-embraced my love of fragrances and am refreshing old loved ones and exploring exciting new ones.  I am a veteran of the original MUA fragrance forum and Sniffapalooza events in NYC from 25+ years ago.  I was a far too frequent denizen of Aedes de Venustas on Christopher St, the original Bond No 9 boutique on Bond St, Takashimaya and good ol' Bigelows.

Thanks to all of you for this wonderful community and resource!

Hi everyone! Longtime lurker, finally made an account last year, trying to be more active on the forums/community (I got the social anxiety, y'all). I became interested in niche frags back in 2014 when I discovered Luckyscent, and now I'm downsizing my full bottle collection and focusing more on samples and decants (which I have a lot of and really need to go through and organize). Because what I've come to realize is that I really just enjoy the novelty of smelling and experiencing and discovering, and I love all the weird, offbeat frags but I don't necessarily want to smell like them on the regular or even out in public.

Hi everyone! My name is Jess and I live in New York. I I used to be on Fragrantica, but I moved over here a couple months ago. I started really getting into fragrances around 2012–2014 and most of my collection is still from that time. I'm trying to use up some old bottles before I get any more. I love fresh scents like aquatics and white floral, and in the colder months I also like soft gourmands. This place is great so far and I'm looking forward to exploring more!

Hello everyone.

Im 34 and Ive been a lurker in the forums of various fragrance sites and forums for a long time and just recently joined and started interacting. Been an avid fan and collector for years now but the way people interact and share their experience and knowledge about this hobby in this forum, kind of makes me want to be part of it too. Considering what people call collectors here, i am quite a mid to small collector.

I am a huge fan of Amouage, i feel like the artistic to professional ratio they have is the best in the market today also because i dont really like the mainstream sweet wave that has captured the modern perfumery, fits me that well. I am a huge fan of iris too, with my favourite perfumer being Antoine Lie and i wear his Render-Vous and Sword being some of my favourite wears.

Looking forward to making new friends and learning more about this hooby
