Maybe you all think I'm getting crazy but...I coincidentally discovered my beloved Infusion d'Iris (2015) Eau de Parfum projects and lasts forever on.....wood!!
I had spilled some drops when spraying the perfume on my wooden desk some time ago and everytime since then, when I sit at my desk, I smell this lovely scent that I unfortunately hardly smell on myself or on clothes when I wear it (and which is very frustrating).
So I sprayed some on a wooden clothespin, pinned it on my sweater and...yes: I keep getting the smell so clearly now!
So I will buy some wooden bracelets and see if I can enjoy the scent better and longer by spraying it on those bracelets.
And because most Iris scents are rated very low where it concerns the sillage, I thought I might share it with the community here.
And maybe someone with a lot of knowledge about perfumes can explain why- or confirm that Iris clings to wood (or tell me I'm getting nuts indeed 😃?)
