Worst Smelling Men’s Fragrances For You?

1-Joop Homme (EDT): Over-sweet and synthetic syrup

2- Versace Blue Jeans: Smells like a toilet cleaned with cheap bleach.

3-YSL Kouros: I respect the fragrance, but too animalic and stinky for my taste

4-YSL Y EDP: Too sweet and obnoxious for it to be a blue fragrance.

5-Initio Absolute Aphrodisiac: I adore Initio, but vanilla-animal combo is just not good.

6-Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille: Too rubbery.

7-JPG Ultramale: Far too feminine and fruity for a men’s fragrance.

8-Dolge&Gabanne Light Blue Intense: Smells like rotten egg on my skin.

9-Sauvage EDT: By far the worst ambroxan ever smelled

10-Drakkhar Noire: Barbershop MESS. Carnation is a ruin here.

Without any hesitation : Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette , it smells like a spray of deodorant on a sweaty armpit at the end of a hot summer day.

Go to local department store, point at any bottle in men's counter.  If you did not point at Tom Ford Beau de Jour or Grey Vetiver you have pointed at one of the worst smelling fragrances I know.  At least this applies to almost all the department stores I have visited in the last year.  

Four fragrances come to mind which I just had to scrub off my skin. To each their own and tastes differ, but they smelled so bad to me I threw up a little inside my mouth.

1. Mugler A*Men Pure Malt

2.  Tom Ford Grey Vetiver (EdP and Parfum)

3. Mugler A*Men Original

4. l'eau bleu d'issey miyake

Next to those, practically every fragrance that is heavy on Saffron is a big no no for me, I can bear a little but I find it truly revolting.

Oh, wow, you guys have got pretty discerning noses.  😃   While I might not like a fragrance, there's only one that stands out to me as truly bad and instant scrubber. It was on the shelf at Marshall's (USA discount store) and I sprayed the tester on my hand. Almost made me puke. Had to go to the restroom and tried to scrub it off, but it hung on for two days (reduced intensity of course). Blech. Not in the database here or at Fragrantica. Portola Intense Leather. The scary part is when I visited the store again in a few weeks, there was only one bottle left. Hate to think if some dudes bought it without trying. Big surprise at home!

I agree with you on TF Ombre Leather and Kilian Angels' Share.  I haven't tried most of the others on your list but I didn't get those two at all.  Ombre Leather quickly settled into that leather note and never changed so I walked around smelling like a leather sofa.  Angels' Share was a hard no for me.  Sprayed it on in a Sephora and then washed it off about 30 minutes later.  So sickly sweat it became nauseating.  Granted sweet perfumes are not my thing but I sometimes wonder how much everyone is buying into the hype with some of these perfumes.   

I am an oldie and haven't bought any of the new ones but sand and sable, and Emeraude are the two that were eww to me.

Amouage Gold 

Amouage - beach hut man (good quality and extremely strong, but smells like a 60 year old man who just bathed in shaving foam) 

Essential parfums - Bois imperial (nauseating synthetic crap) 

Kilian - Angels share (way too sweet) 

Xerjoff - erba pura (way to sweet and in your face) 

Xerjoff - 40 knots (such a weird scent, cannot make anything of it, but tastes differ) 

Amouage - interlude man (interesting and well made scent, but not for outside the house. Only if you want to shock people with that monstrous incense projection)

 Diptique - orpheon (loved it on strip but the moment I sprayed it on my skin I became nauseated, and had to wash it off. It was the weirdest experience I had so far. From loving it to almost puking.)

In general, any "70s Powerhouse" covers it.
