...I understand that the mods don't want to have long discussions about every single photo that got rejected, so they use that "no explanation" clause to avoid that. Accusing someone of resubmitting the same pic when they didn't is not great, but mistakes can happen, especially when the photos are similar. What I don't understand is the doubling down and overreaction when Lempi asked for clarification on this! Especially because she already posted a lot of photos that not only got approved, but also get lots of positive feedback from other users.

...Parfumo is a German site and has a German language version which is a lot more active than the English one. Therefore there are mostly German offers on the Souk. There is a small globe symbol above the offers where you can chose to only show offers from some specific countries. 

...I didn't know you could rate fragrantica on trust pilot. That site is very funny. Some people complain about prices and not getting their orders and one crazy person said fragrantica was far-left, overly positive and even warned about parfumo being German fragrantica 🤣 Oh dear...

...It's very likely some kind of noseblindless. Erba Pura is extremely strong. Maybe your nose gets overwhelmed and cancels it out.You can try to spray it generously on a cotton pad and put that into a small container for about a week. When you open the box again, you can usually smell the fragrance better than before. I had success with this method for some perfumes I could barely detect.

...Yeah, I still check Fragrantica from time to time, too. Even though I have the advantage of being German so I can read Parfumo.de, which is more active than the English version. But hey, it's better to only use it to look things up every now and then than to actively contribute and go there every day! I don't think Parfumo will have more reviews than Fragrantica anytime soon, but that's fine, there are no quality standards on Fragrantica, so some reviews are really useless. We don't need those here. We do need more quality reviews though. If everyone who complained about this wrote a few, the site would fill up quickly. I'm not talking about this thread, but mainly the people on other social media who ask for an alternative to Fragrantica and then complain that Parfumo doesn't have enough reviews or has too many long-winded auto translated German reviews. I do think the auto-translated reviews are a problem and there should be an option to hide them, but I don't understand how people complain that there are so few reviews and not just add some.

...I think it can also be weather conditions. I noticed that I sometimes can't smell perfumes for very long when it's really hot outside. I guess they evaporate faster with sweating. Otherwise, I agree, it's almost always 8+ hours on my skin and basically forever on fabric. 

...Yeah, I hate that, too. In summer it's not a big problem with short sleeves and lower necklines, but in winter it drives me crazy. I tend to wash most of my clothes after one wear, but not outerwear, scarves and big wide sweaters/cardigans. I try to use perfumes that are similar enough to layer seamlessly when an item has older perfume on it. And I don't spray my clothes intentionally, but perfume tends to transfer to them even if I sprayed it before putting them on.

I know that B&BW is often the last store in deserted old malls in the USA, so it makes sense to close locations like that. 50 are not even that many.  I like malls in principle, but I'm always disappointed when I shop for clothes offline. It's easier to find what you're looking for online. Testing perfumes in stores is great though.

...I don't spray on fragrances before bed, but I often test some samples in the evening, so I usually smell like those. But I love to wear a fragrance before I take a nap for some reason. I work from home mostly, so I often take a shower after work instead of in the morning, then I put on a fragrance, and sometimes, if I feel tired, I will take a short nap. It doesn't help me sleep but it's nice to have a scent around me when I doze off and wake up again. It's especially nice with softly sweet or musky scents, something like Kenzo Amour or Noa Eau de Toilette or Fantasy Intimate Edition works well, but it also depends on my mood.

...Yes 😊 I recently noticed that I have these two matching Perfumes and can't get it out of my head ever since 🙈 He was Sunshine Woman I was Midnight Rain Eau de Parfum.

...I have never tried Dua or Alexandria. Zara has many dupes, but also some original scents. I wouldn't really call them a dupe house, they don't try to make exact dupes of everything, they just adapt trends for an affordable price. Just like with their clothes. Some are closer to the high end version, some not. So, they have some really boring designer dupes and some more interesting creations. I don't think they all have a "chemical smell". The quality is a bit of a mixed bag, but the prices are really low and you can try the fragrances in store, so it's fair. For example my husband has "#Tobacco Collection - Rich/Warm/Addictive | Zara", which is a really nice gourmand and not a true dupe to anything else. This one gets a lot of hype online, too. It has a 7.9 rating on here. Cherry Smoothie is another nice one. Many perceive it as a Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum dupe, but I have Lost Cherry and found Cherry Smoothie way more powdery and not that similar. Honestly, people call everything with a cherry note an LC dupe nowadays, so I don't know. It's good. I had a bottle of Black Peony a while ago, and this one is a good example for the average designer dupe category. It's supposed to smell like Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum and is basically a lighter version of that. Nice, but not remarkable. The original is better in this case. With Zara, you really have to read reviews and try fragrances, they have way too many different scents to generalize.

... Definitely worth it, they're quite affordable compared to other niche sample sets. Just chose the sets of 4, so you can pick what you want to try. It's possible to get several of them. You will even get extra samples in your cart. 

...No worries, it's all good 🤗 There actually is a way to vote on individual notes on here! You click on the note on the site of a perfume and a little window were you can rate the note pops up. On some perfume sites you will notice that the font of some notes is larger or smaller, that's because of the votes.So yeah, this is one of the few things that I find more intuitive and clear on fragrantica.  The votes on accords is a great feature, very useful for a quick overview.
