An indescribable emotion on the face of the sales lady when she asked if I liked cherry and I cheerfully responded that I don't... It probably would have made me avoid that shop until the day I die if this happened when I was any younger, lmao. Why did you go for these three if you don’t like cherry?

... And while I get it, it’s all marketing blah blah blah. But when a perfume is marketed as feminine and I don’t like it on myself, I do feel bad to rate it poorly. Another thing I’d like to bring up. And that doesn’t only apply to perfume but also to clothing, is that women can more easily pull of a male-marketed product than vice versa. Enjoy that.

... "The Voice of the Snake | Gucci" purely for the bottle. I witnessed it last weekend and it’s drop dead gorgeous. Add to that it’s an amazing scent. Way better than the mainstream one. Edit: this inspired me to sell my bottle of "Guilty Absolute pour Homme | Gucci" and get this one instead.

... I think that perfume sells dreams. As a man you’d want to be the embodiment of strength, self-confidence or opulence. So probably smelling like candyfloss or a field of flowers might not sell that dream to most men. Of course, if you’re very confident by yourself already you can pull off a candyfloss frag no problem. As I’m typing this I wonder: what dream does perfume sell to women?

... It’s mostly marketing, but the matter of fact is still that men and women are different and sometimes they just want to go their own business. Loads of times I find it fantastic to weed through all sorts of perfumes to find the one that fits me most, or to find the one that fitst my wife most. But also sometimes I just want to go over to the men’s section and have some of the chaff separated from the wheat.

... Just wear whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable. If you really like "Zafferano | Acqua di Parma" but you don’t feel yourself wearing it, you’re not going to. Have you tried others from the house? Personally I really likes "Sandalo (Eau de Parfum) | Acqua di Parma" . Great fresh opening, getting more creamy and woody in the drydown. Lovely stuff. Have you tried "Revolución | Carner" ? It’s a beautiful leathery scent. Saffron is often linked to the leather scent so maybe you’ll like it as well. I found it very interesting but I get it you want opinions from women’s perspective and my wife didn’t like it haha.
