Girlie!
Eternity Aqua by Calvin Klein is a wonderful flowery girlie perfume.First comes the opening with white flowers and then the dry down is a sweet apple mystery.Has some "pink" notes in it however there is no rose in the perfume notes.I suggest this perfume for Spring and for young girls! It is very refreshing and uplifting.Fresh, clean aquatic a must for summer also!!

Fresh and clean
This scent feels like splashing the water of a cool mountain spring on your face, watching the sunrise on a cool summer morning. It is distinctly aquatic but in the way of freshwater rivers rather than the marine quality of the sea. The combination of gardenia, apple and magnolia impart the perfume with a clean, feminine sweetness softly entwined with the fresh punch of cucumber.

I first bought this perfume in a drugstore because it was very affordable. In the following years, I have completely fallen in love with the scent. It is very disappointing that it has been discontinued, so I have been using my bottle sparingly. It is certainly more of a summer perfume rather than spring, and the cool aquatic scent brings a much-needed burst of freshness to humid summer days.

Brief Refreshment or the Invention of the Aprikapfel
Eternity Aqua found its way into my collection after some twists and turns. I don't know the original Eternity, whether that's an advantage or a disadvantage I can't judge. I'm just being optimistic, so I can approach this scent completely unprejudiced.
I tested Eternity Moments back then and found it very beautiful, but at that time it was too "grown-up" for me. The beautiful campaign with Scarlett Johansson has stuck in my memory until today, as has the Eternity line.
So I tested this fragrance under the delusion that it was the new summer flanker, which, to my delight, is supposed to contain wisteria. Smells great, but no wisteria, what a fool I am. Did I confuse the two? Nevertheless, I had to have EA because of its beautiful and fruity freshness.
Many thanks to Waldfee for the nice swap.

Eternity Aqua opens with a hearty bite into a delicious red apple that just drips with fruit juice. It's possible that this impression is enhanced by the watery, fresh coolness of the cucumber. I don't find it particularly synthetic. A cool, fresh, and very fruity breeze welcomes me here, underlined by the most interesting cucumber note, which I already liked in Eau Mega. Sweet apricot puree joins in, which is almost creamy. Fortunately, there's no sugary sweetness, as the apricot mixes with the slightly tart apple, and thus it is born: the Aprikapfel. The peony only lightly swings in with a delicate pink touch, standing as a godmother in a white dress.

It doesn't rush into the heart note. A large bouquet of white flowers is handed to me here. No vigorous left-right combination. Feminine, fresh, modern, elegant, and yet casual. I really like that the scent, although so fresh, zesty, fruity, and aquatic, still comes across as very elegant and feminine and doesn't drift into sporty territory. I also find it nice that there are no citrus fruits here. Unfortunately, the latter sometimes develop a shrill and cleaning product-like scent in great heat and high humidity for me, so to speak, they enter into a heavy affair with Mr. Clean.

The slightly synthetic, aquatic undertone now comes into play more strongly. This smell could possibly lead to headaches, but it doesn't bother me.
I prefer to compare it to a lightly swaying satin blanket, similar to a trampoline for the indicated fruits and flowers, which reflects the gradient of the bottle.
This image lasts for several hours, losing some of its fruit acidity and becoming softer, almost creamy. The fresh and clean character remains throughout, giving a fresh feeling, as if just stepped out of the shower, even at muggy 38 degrees.
The woods are perceived more as a delicate, sun-bleached framework, musk lightens the scent, and cedar adds depth. The sweet hybrid still rolls around here, albeit somewhat faded.

The longevity is surprisingly good for the fruity-fresh air kiss. It lasts a good seven hours on me.
The sillage is rather average. The scent is perceivable to those around me as a light pleasant aroma, but they can't pinpoint the exact source.
Especially during the last heatwave, the scent was a pleasant companion for days and managed to convince me. A nice all-rounder in a color-coordinated bottle, only the cap feels a bit cheap.

Anyone who is a fan of aquatic scents like Cool Water or Eau Mega might want to take a sniff here.
Moreover, I find it very nice that the scent is very feminine due to the floral notes despite the freshness and is thus also suitable for going out and celebrating.

Hopefully, summer still has many hot days and exciting nights in store.

I Give Up
I find that aquatic scents smell great on so many others. Fresh, clean, cheerful, airy, and so on.
On me, somehow... not.
I've tried for years. Tested many different perfumes. It's always the same. At first, the scent smells wonderful. Fresh, clean, cheerful, airy, and so on. And then it drifts away. Suddenly, I start to feel uncomfortable. Somehow cold. Impersonal. Not like me.
I don't know why.
A while ago, a friend who works in a perfume shop convinced me to try this scent. I was there spontaneously, and we chatted a bit, and I told her about my problem with aqua scents.
She showed me this one, saying it was quite different. She sprayed it on. Yes, it smelled good. Delicious, like summer. The cucumber is very noticeable, which I like.
We talked a bit more, and the summery top note lingered for a long time. I thought, okay, I'll take this one, this scent is different.
I went home, showed the scent to my husband. He thought it was nice too, light indeed.
And then it happened, as it had to. Shortly after I got home, I no longer felt comfortable. I smelled increasingly sharp jasmine. I wanted to wait it out, ignore it. But it got worse.
And the base never settles on me. It remains foreign, cold, too much jasmine.
I tried. Different occasions. Different weather. But it stays the same. I passed it on. To a woman who, strangely enough, smells delicious with it and feels fresh, clean, cheerful, airy, and so on.
I believe that with Calvin Klein Eternity Aqua, my era of trying aquatic perfumes comes to an end. It's a shame about the cucumbers; maybe I'll find one that smells cozy and warm, homey and not foreign, despite the cucumber.

Cucumber in the Drain
I haven't been able to test the popular women's classic Eternity yet, and I couldn't find much to appreciate in the men's counterpart either, unlike its numerous admirers. For me, it's not the best CK fragrance, but by no means bad.

Now my dear friend pulled out some dusty samples from her closet while cleaning, including Eternity Aqua. I can only agree with the comment below: very trivial. But also fleeting. An interesting, wet, aquatic cucumber in the opening, adorned with some fruity notes. I just about like that. However, the floral medley that follows is utterly disappointing. Undermined by the aquatic base note, it takes an absolutely disappointing turn after the good start. Soapy, slightly woody, slightly headache-inducing.

The bottle is attractive, but it could also be the 100th CK One Summer flanker. Does every somewhat successful fragrance really need a sport/aqua or light version? I say NO. Longevity is a pitiful 5 hours... pitiful. Sillage is like a summer breeze... in winter. Which means: very thin and almost frozen.

Overall, another Aqua flop... it's a shame that the much-discussed Aqua doesn't wash these versions off the market even faster!

As much as I love the original Eternity: too many flankers are out there. This one was a bit watery-fresh and very light. Quite nice.

Cucumber-fresh apple spritz. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long & like many aquatics, the sun hits harder than the sillage in the wearing season.

A refreshing deodorant rather than a perfume.
Dew-fresh and softly enveloped by musk and light woods.
Pale, yet still refined.

A fresh and modern scent. The combination of cucumber, citrus fruits, and mint creates a refreshing and invigorating fragrance.
