Clean & Fresh Masculine Fragrance

Great masculine fragrance that's clean and fresh. Would work as a quick grab fragrance that leans a little more formal, especially for a little warmer weather. Utility and versatility are very good, similar to Explorer and Platinum Explorer - nice scent that most everyone will like, useful any day, any time.

The reason I don't like it is the dismal performance for me. After about 1 to 2 hours, it was only a very weak skin scent. Tested from a sample and won't be buying a FB.

It starts fairly interesting; masculine, fresh, green apple. There is also a modernized lavender fougere accord.
Afterwards it develops into a basic masculine scent, something you'd find in a shower gel or a deodorant. It's pleasant, but uninspiring.

Longevity is fine, but it has zero projection. On me it was a skin scent for the whole 7 hours.

Yes, it's cheap and it could be an easy reach perfume, but I still think there are better options out there.

A pleasing green and fresh scent. A good combination of classic (it reminds me of some older perfumes, but I can't remember which ones) and modern, wearable in practically any situation. The apple, although a bit synthetic, is a pleasant surprise.

It's fair to call it EDP for CK standards, but yes, it doesn't last very long. Thankfully, it's cheap :)

A wonderful start to a collection.

Ah, Eternity edp. This was the first ever fragrance I bought for myself, and I wore the hell out of it for years.

I absolutely love the combination of apple, lavender, cypress and vetiver. To me, they are the stars of the show, creating a crisp woody green appeal but with a soapy, lightly shower gel-y, texture.

The best part about this fragrance is easily its versatility. It was my signature scent for many years until I decided to move on from it. It's definitely worth a try if you find a tester somewhere. And if you're just starting your collection, I would highly recommend :)

Never again Calvin Klein...

...I thought to myself when the last attempts with the well-known label went thoroughly wrong.

The fragrances themselves were never the problem.
Sure, they were mostly not scent milestones, but still wearable (albeit quite synthetic) perfumes.

Much worse was actually always the issue of longevity. Hardly inhaled, they were already gone. Therefore, I took a break from CK fragrances for a long time.

However, I must admit (yes, I confess - Shame on me) that a bargain caught my attention again.
The quite well-rated CK Eternity EdP for 25 euros/100ml? I just had to grab it.

Said and done, I unpacked the perfume without too many expectations, applied it, and Boom!
What is this???

A fresh-green (and not very synthetic) lavender/apple bomb hits me.
What a beautiful opening Eternity EdP has.
Great, I thought. Did I really spray a "Klein"? Indeed.

My goodness, this perfume has an incredibly lovely sweet-green character!

Now I must confess that despite my biblical age (47), I know the original Eternity only from a distant memory.
So I won't make any comparisons in this regard.

The sillage is impressive. Finally, something green to show off, and you don't smell directly like a forest.

I couldn't detect a significant scent development during the 8 hours of longevity, and I find that EXACTLY right. Because just as the scent starts, that's how I want it to be.

I don't perceive any leather (thankfully), at best a minimal earthy note that comes from the vetiver.
A well-groomed soapiness with a fine watery fresh note cannot be denied in Eternity either.

I am thus completely thrilled, and Calvin has not disappointed me this time.

Even though I have only been using the fragrance for 5 days, I attest it full summer suitability.
That's how you want to smell on a walk.

Eternity will surely find its use on many mild days in spring/autumn as well.

Now I am actually also interested in one or two flankers of Eternity.
If there is a similar scent DNA present, I am not averse.

Total successful blind buy, I am happy and not so grumpy about Mr. Klein anymore ;)
