Popular? No doubt.

Fendi is an interesting house. They do not have a lot of fragrances in their portfolio but the quality and uniqueness of the scents are indisputable. I have only Palazzo in my collection but I have tried several of the other scents over the years.
The bottle is gorgeous! I love the see through effect and the top that most certainly inspired My Way, shapewise. Popular? No doubt. The fragrance is also one of its kind. Floral. Full. Likeable. Interesting. The nose behind is the nose behind Dior Addict and Fahrenheit 32. I dare say he knows what he is doing. Palazzo is a unique scent, and I like that. Maybe it is not the best scent in the world but it has personality and format.

Spare, Pared-down Version of Theorema

Fendi PALAZZO edt is a simple and likeable light fragrance which strikes me as a very spare, pared-down version of THEOREMA. Basically, remove the amber and spices from THEOREMA, and you will have PALAZZO: still slightly sweet and golden but much less intense. The citrus is candied here, too, and the patchouli plays an important supportive role in both compositions. I do not believe that patchouli alone makes a chypre, so I'd call this oriental instead.

PALAZZO edt is a nice, mild, supremely wearable perfume, but I prefer the more complex and luxurious THEOREMA. To my nose, the aesthetic of PALAZZO is similar to that of the house of Lolita Lempicka, and I'd bet that anyone who likes those perfumes would like this one as well...

Should never have been discontinued

Palazzo by Fendi is possibly one of the most elegant fragrances I've ever come across.

From simply glancing at the bottle, one suspects this will be a sophisticated and glamourous floral, and that is exactly what Palazzo is.

Opening with subtle citrus notes and peppery goodness, this fragrance is both bright and gentle on the skin. The heart of white florals however, really brings out the character in Palazzo.

This floral blend is rich, warm and inviting. The whole experience is rather exquisite. Palazzo has a very classic, French-feel about it which reeks of confidence and glamour.

The drydown tends to be quite musky and dense in a smokey sense. The patchouli is barely detectable here, so patchouli haters should be able to cope with Palazzo. This fragrance is bold and distinctive without being too strange for people to handle.

It's such a shame that the Fendi fragrance line has almost ceased to exist. For such an interesting and pleasant fragrance, Palazzo does not deserve to disappear from the market.
