An oud fragrance "assolutamente magnífica"
Fan di Fendi Pour Homme Assoluto, the complex name for a magnificent, classy, and reasonably manly fragrance. It has an excellent value for money.
It opens with a beautiful blast of mild and peaceful oud (oud is always present) and warm spices (red pepper and cardamom). It's very loud and very pleasant, probably one of the best openings in a masculine Oriental cologne. It evolves with a bit of timid patchouli and Vetiver.
The dry-down it's all about the omnipresent peaceful oud flavoured by sweet myrrh and Tonka. Actually, the opoponax/myrrh ambery note is stronger than the woody notes.
What a fantastic involving scent! No need for Rose or Saffron to tame the Oud as Myrrh and Tonka do it with perfection. This is one of the most usable oud fragrances I have ever experienced.
Performance is just acceptable.

- Dry down: 9.5 (really pleasant amber and mild oud, sweetened by tonka beans)
- Longevity: 7.5 ( 7 hours, 3 initial sprays)
- Sillage: 7.0 (4~5 feet at the peak, projects for 2~2.5 hours)
- Versatility: 7.5 (avoid using it in hot weather; very good for many situations in normal and cold weather provided you hang out with oriental scents lovers; It's far from being cloying like many oriental fragrances, mainly due to its smoothness)
- Wearability: 8.0 (due to its subtleness and smoothness, you may wear it in situations not easy for oud scents. Avoid sweaty situations like the seaside, gym, and so on)
- Compliments: 8.5 (Yes it is a compliment grabber due to its smoothness, mild sweetness, and pleasant woody and spicy accords; It's not a head-turner, but it's very sexy)
- Uniqueness: 9.5 (I do own a lot of oud fragrances and none is similar to this one; It does present a vibe similar to the original YSL M7)
- Quality: 9.0 (smells expensive and classy; excellent sprayer; heavy glass)
- Presentation: 10.0 (gorgeous classy bottle, very nice box)
- Price: 9.0 (€23 for 100 ml + VAT+shipping)

Excelent fragrance; I do recomend it.
