Shanghai: The fresh peony
I don't usually like to label fragrances as meant for a specific gender, but this is absolutely meant for women.
From the very first spray, you feel like you stuck your face in a fresh, young and juicy peony bouquet. Also, immediately, you can feel the fresh synthetics in here, which aren't cloying or anything you would expect. In fact, I think they play their part pretty well, but that combo is definitely not my cup of tea, so let's say straight away this fragrance in general is not for me. Mildly fruity and creamy hints, but you'll get those just by smelling close to the skin rather than from the sillage.
The average performance from this Catalan perfumery brand's fragrances is moderate. I'd say you could compare it to Penhaligon's' longevity and projection: you know your fragrance is there and it will remain for the sole occasion or purpose that you applied it for.
I don't even know about the hundreds of freshy floral fragrances on the market that might bring a similar feel to Shanghai, from Contes de Parfums, but no doubt this is a recurrent DNA. It smells fine and it definitely feels niche, but for 200€ in Spain and 150€ in Andorra, I encourage you to find an alternative.
