CPO#6 Buried under soap
My goodness, what a board, a washboard, with lots of soap. Curd soap.
Of course, it still has to be scented, otherwise it would be boring.
Al Rehab uses sandalwood here, probably nutmeg and a citrus mixture that is not further specified...
The Man is another fragrance that has certainly tried to concentrate Western vintage fragrances to a maximum level in an Arabian way. The perfume oil is so strong that a small strip on the pulse points is actually enough to create a decent sillage. so 3ml=100ml.
As the fragrance progresses, the soapy, citrusy notes diminish somewhat (but only slightly), and woody notes now dominate the rest of the fragrance. It remains very spicy overall, but always on the fresh side and I always associate something coniferous in the background. But it could also be because it is similar to Amir by Sultan Essancy, which in turn smells really soapy and woody.
The Man is more beautifully made, without question, but you have to like spicy hardcore soap fragrances. It's not quite my cup of tea, but let's see how my scent impressions change over time.
