magnolia bomb

this is a nice white floral scent. i get some bitter green galbanum in the opening which fades almost immediately. then youre left with a slightly indolic jasmine, rounded by what I think is bergamot, and the citrusy aroma of the magnolia. this is not a headachey or very perfumey scent. its a nice and easy wear if u like white florals. and the bottle is super cute.

Éclat de Vert is a delicate green floral scent, wonderfully fine-powdery green note, only minimally sweet. A very intricate elegant spring fragrance. One must like galbanum, and ambrox is not exactly subtle either. Although I don't usually count these two notes among my favorites, I quite like this scent.
It won't make it onto my wish list, but I happily use up the small sample I have, as Éclat de Vert is great for wearing in the office and won't disturb anyone. A true all-rounder with a radiant cheerful aura.
H+S are a good 6 hours, although only a fine woody base with a hint of ambrox remains.

So elegant

Eclat de Vert has captivated me. Almost against my will, I like the scent from Aerin. I find the brand's aesthetics too "American clean," the prices are very overpriced, and the fragrances feel like I've smelled them all somewhere else before, even if the quality (as is typical for all Lauder brands) is there. Nevertheless - the scent has simply enchanted me. The fragrance has a balance and elegance that I usually experience when wearing Chanel scents, but without exuding the same arrogance. Not a bit powdery. It comes across as summer-smiling and approachable.
Even with the notes, the effect comes through that you smell a unity. My (admittedly not super-trained) nose cannot identify individual scent elements - but while reading, I understand why the scent captivates me: Galbanum, Iris always win my heart.
