Good but not great
It starts with lemon , and after 30 minutes patchouli and musk start their combo. I see why its compared to Creed King , but they don't have much in common. Good when you want something with patchouli for spring. In my opinion great blind buy , but C.D.N.I is much better.

Strong Aventus-type perfume oil.
This is a review based on the oil. Has a lemoney opening and lacks pineapple in the top notes. I can really get the smokiness more when I dilute with perfumers alcohol and spray it. The drydown is more earthy, harsher, pungent than the Aventus I'm familiar with. Lasts over 12 hours with very good projection. A 6ml bottle costs a few euro so extremley good value for money!

A beautiful fruit-smoke scent with a distinctive character
For several months, the unassuming little bottle had stood unnoticed and forgotten in the cupboard after I didn't quite like it during an initial brief test. Fortunately, I took it out again and subjected it to an extensive test last week. And lo and behold: I really like the scent, and I don't want to withhold my impressions from you.

My review refers to the pure perfume oil in the 6ml roll-on bottle. Therefore, I can't say anything about the EdP that is occasionally available in stores (in the bottle shown at the top of this page).

Upon application, Avenue starts with a juicy-fruity bergamot, and I think I can also detect a hint of Sicilian lemon. A real citrus explosion that should make the heart of any lover of citrus scents race. Due to the intensity of the citrus notes, there might indeed be a momentary association with citrus cleaning products. But only for a brief moment, as you quickly sense that there must be natural fragrance oils at play here, which, at least to my nose, come across as very clear and high-quality. A warm summer day on an Italian beach comes to mind.

After about 15-20 minutes of citrus spectacle, the opulent fruitiness recedes a bit, and a fine accord of pine, olibanum, and patchouli gradually joins in. It is a pleasantly dry-herbaceous patchouli, from which the characteristic smoky aroma develops over time, forming the defining fruit-smoke accord along with the still present citrus notes. This accord remains throughout the entire progression, although the scent, in my impression, constantly shifts a bit; sometimes the fruit comes to the forefront a bit stronger, sometimes the smoke, but always in perfect balance.

The oud mentioned by the manufacturer Al Rehab in the fragrance pyramid is not explicitly discernible to my nose; however, I do believe it harmonizes the individual components and ensures that the patchouli does not come across as "hippie-like" at all. Otherwise, Avenue would definitely not be a scent for me.

I would not describe Avenue as an Aventus dupe, but rather as an independent scent that presents the fruit-smoke theme in a new and interesting variant. While Aventus's pineapple component likely comes from the artificial flavoring Manzanate and the smoke mainly from birch or, more precisely, birch tar oil (ol. betula verrucosa), Avenue features bergamot and lemon oil alongside dry patchouli (and olibanum) on stage. Thus, there are indeed similarities between the two scents, but also clear differences. In fact, there are moments in the scent progression where the similarity to Aventus appears striking, yet in the next moment, Avenue reveals its own character again.

The sillage of the perfume oil is enormous, especially in connection with body heat. Rolled on both sides of the neck in the area of the veins, 3-5 cm each, and the sillage is expansive in the first two hours. Here, one must really dose carefully so it doesn't become a burden for more sensitive individuals. Especially due to the intense fruit projection in the first 20 minutes, the oil should be applied early before going out among people. Otherwise, it could come across as too intrusive.

Avenue also scores top marks in longevity. The next day, and even after a long bath, Avenue is still clearly perceptible on the skin.

I really like the packaging as pure perfume oil in the 6ml roll-on bottle. Especially when traveling, the handy format is very practical. It's a shame that not all manufacturers offer their scents in this form.

Although Al Rehab declares the scent as unisex, I can't really understand that. The herbaceous-smoky component comes across as quite masculine. Avenue is a scent with an adult aura that perfectly suits a mature, interesting personality. I can hardly imagine Avenue on men under 40.

Conclusion: For lovers of citrus scents and those who enjoy the fruit-smoke theme but do not want to smell like the unfortunately inflationary and omnipresent Creed knights, Avenue could definitely be worth a try. At the price of just a few euros for 6 ml of perfume oil, you really can't go wrong.

TuS Avenue
Many see this fragrance as an Aventus clone.
I can't understand this opinion at all. Maybe it has elements of
30-40%. But a clone? No, sorry...
That doesn't mean it's not a good fragrance. I actually quite like it.
I ordered the 6ml version for a ridiculous €6.50 including shipping.
Even when applying it, you can feel the quality of the oil. It forms a
light film on the skin. Moreover, this oil is alcohol-free.
Here you get quality for little money, while in Europe
you have to pay a lot for advertising, perfumers, and elaborate bottles.

The fragrance opens with a natural citrus note. I think I can detect
a lime. This is enveloped by a woody note. Very fresh, clear, and elegant
at the same time.
It fits best in spring and summer.
For going out, I would probably wear it rather rarely, but otherwise it fits
perfectly everywhere.
Moreover, I believe Avenue can be worn by both genders.

I still perceived the oil after 12 hours. The sillage is also impressive.
I think the higher the temperature, the better it radiates.
After an hour on the skin, it gets even better. I think then the
oil has really "connected" with the skin.
For me, a clear test candidate, especially at this price.

Thumbs up Al Rehab!

An Aventus clone, but only after the drydown. Starts off very soapy. The oil lasts damn long on my skin. Bought 6ml for €3.

It's no surprise it's so well-received. Reminds me a lot of Hacivat, just much greener and smokier. Roll-On on an oil base is very economical! Price/Quality is sensational.

Oil: nearly identical to Creed Aventus. Great, intense, rich scent. Sillage is strong at first, then more subtle but still well-presented.

A beautiful start before the pyramid collapses relatively quickly. What remains is a (certainly high-quality) smoky-woody accord.

Fragrance oil. At first, the scent reminds me a lot of Aventus, then after two hours, sweet oud. Longevity is good, 7-8 hours. Sillage is moderate, good for 1 hour.

Strong citrus-spicy note that is really powerful and long-lasting. Barely reminds me of Aventus, more like lemon, bergamot with oregano blossom.
