lemon powdered donut

when i first got this and opened it, it smelled like a zesty lemon cleaner and i found myself really disappointed with it- a very synthetic sharp lemon comes through as soon as i sniffed it instead of the pleasant bakery smell everyone was talking about!
i finally decided to wear it for an entire day and- wow! boy did i get ahead of myself with this one! after 30 minutes or so, the lemon cleaner smell definitely chills out and the sweet vanilla powdery comes through and blends well with the lemon and it's so nice. very strong and projects like crazy on me for a long time. in the end i'd describe it as a lemon powdered donut.
i think this is a really versatile scent that you could wear anywhere, anytime or for anything, so if you're thinking about buying it and needed that push i'd encourage it. plus the price is very good for what you get.

very sweet and sugary lemon loaf cake

this smells JUST like a sweetly iced lemon loaf cake. You know those delicious ones with the lumps of crystallised sugar and the segment of candied lemon on the top, with lashings of light caramel sauce drizzled all over. I find it very comforting and the citrus lasts an impressively long time before it turns into more of a caramel vanilla musk. Impressed considering it was £3!! Lasted 15 hours + overnight on skin but will come off with a scrubbing if necessary :')

Smells very yummy, gourmand and sweet so if you don't like this kind of scent I would avoid!

A wonderful perfume oil eigh super lasting power

This is my second purchase of al rehab after the green tea one. This is my heart steller. Will not say that it's a spon on dupe of alAquolina pink sugar. But with layering it can be.
It's a well balanced sweet Gourmand fragrance with high quality.

lemon cough drop x pink sugar

this is just pink sugar with lemon. its incredibly overhyped. kinda smells like cough drops. its genuinely offensive to me that anyone is comparing this to Lira or devotion. if you are hoping for an alternative to one of those, then please look elsewhere. I'm warning you. if you are looking for pink sugar with added lemon juice then you are in the right place

The Hidden Summer Lemon - a Procrastination Comment.

difficult start:

This fragrance oil has been sitting with me for 2 years. Since I got it, I haven't liked it.
It is very loud, intense, and long-lasting. Every time I smelled it, it was too powdery, too sweet, too attic, too soap-like, reminding me of a stuffy grandma's bathroom.
Since it is so sweet and strong, I only dared to wear it on cold days... I gave it chances now and then, but it just didn't fit.
I could never understand the comments about lemon cotton candy... Lemon? WHERE?!

Restart:

Today, on a warm day, out of sheer procrastination, I rummaged through my little al Rehab - perfume oil box and pulled out this inexpensive roller.
I carefully dabbed it on my wrist... BAM lemon cake. What?
How can it smell so different now? Where is the lemon coming from, and why do I find it so incredibly good! I used to hate it...
Is it the summer dopamine? The mix with Vitamin D3? Or just the temperature that reveals the beautiful lemon note to me? Has my taste changed? What happened...I don't know. But I'm very happy about it.
I still haven't fully trusted it, I laid down in bed with my book and couldn't concentrate on reading at all, with my nose on my wrist. This is insane. I got up, reapplied: wrists, neck, elbow crease, almost too much. But yes, it had to be done.
Just like this comment. (this has nothing to do with procrastination! *cough* )

The new fragrance experience:

I understand why I smelled soap and powder, but those notes now move to the background in my current perception and give the fragrance a bit more structure. Thus, it is not one of those cloyingly sweet sugar bombs, but somehow a bit more interesting.
The sweetness, creaminess, and lemon stand in the front row.
I can't help but think of ice cream "Buttermilk Lemon" or something like that.

I'm excited about this little rediscovery, and for anyone who has similar muffin experiences: try it on a warm day :)

Longevity and performance and fussiness:

The scent is very long-lasting, and the oil is very economical. A few dabs (!) are completely sufficient to be perceived for a long time and at a distance (those who know al Rehab know this. This one is even...more intense). The sillage is impressive. So: keep care! :D
The bottle is...well, what can I say,... just a roller stick.
