Musky and dusty
Sultan is spicy, musky, dusty and a bit fresh at the same time.

The main note here is musk, which is light and there's also some florals and citruses, which turns this scent a very good one from Al-Rehab line.

Very exotic and cheap, definetely worth it's price.

Another great surprise from this house.

A surprise ~~ a spicy aquatic floral from Al Rehab.
I didn't expect this EDP to offer such a spicy aquatic fragrance, quite a surprise, but pleasant and happy. This is an easy-going, lightweight scent, struck me almost as an after-shave splash. Extremely inexpensive: I paid equivalent US$5.50 for the 35ml bottle. Bargain!

Nothing more comes to mind!
The bottle above represents the fragrance, and it does so perfectly!

Silver also comes to mind when I think of the scent. A robust, young sultan, freshly ironed clothes, snow-white, with a large silver dagger at his side, casually strides through the cool, airy mega-palace and looks serious.

The fragrance is fresh yet substantial. I believe there is incense in it. But for sure, there is laurel, because that silver sharpness can only come from there.

Sultan is said to be a bright, powdery scent of white musk with oud and roses. Bright I can confirm, powdery not. The oud only emerges after what feels like hours, a bright oud, as the freshness of the fragrance remains until the very end. Personally, I cannot detect rose; there is a consistently bright sharpness throughout.

Unusual for an oriental, but definitely wearable for women as well, and somehow fascinating. I like it.

Brilliant good scent ... but beware of layering :)
I really like Sultan, or rather, these affordable Al-Rehab scents in some way.

I bought eight different Al-Rehab fragrances in a spontaneous blind purchase and I only doubt one (Aseel), as it smells like a mix of floor disinfectant and industrial solvent based on turpentine .. uh .. smells.

But back to "SULTAN": my version of the fragrance (6ml RollOn) lasts from proper application in the morning until the early evening hours without any issues!
It also behaves very variably in terms of perception throughout the day.

Sometimes I don’t even notice that I’m wearing it, and then again - not half an hour later - it makes its presence known as if I just applied it.

Due to the small amount, I like to layer it with other scents and so far I’ve really been able to create well-developing compositions.
Only today did I reach for the wrong combination.

On me, the mixture of Sultan layered with Terre (EDP) develops really horribly! Sweet and piercing at the same time, with asphalt-like inclusions .... yuck ...

So beware of layering!
Aside from that, this is a long-lasting, pleasant, somewhat floral (almost) unisex scent that is still perceivable as a light oriental.

It certainly contributes massively to my increased well-being in the office :)

Are there Sultans living in the fern forest? YES, this one does!
As I have done several times before, I just tested another "blind swap scent" and I am absolutely thrilled! It is one in one of my favorite directions: A "rich, cool Fougère"!
It shines in the most beautiful moss green, shimmering like a thick carpet. The ferns, which it naturally smells of, let their delicate fronds rustle in the gentle wind.
A combination of clove, jasmine, and a bit of pepper gives it the right kick. And various woods make it irresistible: The "Sultan from the fern forest"! Because there’s a bit of the Orient in there too. Am I catching a whiff of allspice and ginger?
A spicy warmth provides a wonderful contrast to the "April morning coolness," as if the sun were coming out from behind the clouds and countering the "chill" with its rays...
A truly grand "scent cinema" that reminds one of perfumes like "Mousse Illuminè." Or "Fougère Royal," but still retains its individuality. And above all, it is much more affordable!
The price-performance ratio is brilliant! Just like the SCENT!! :-))

You could pour this scent into a Xerjoff bottle and sell it under the name "CEDRE STARS" for € 300!
Amazing price/quality summer fragrance! :--)

Spicy and definitely fresh. I find it hard to identify individual notes, but silver is a very fitting color. Surprising.

Fougere? No. Soapy-fresh, but with a distinct white musk cream and woody-spicy warmth. I don't know any comparable scent. H/S so-so.

A fougère with a green kick, the woods shine mossy. Spiced with clove and jasmine, a pinch of vetiver and patchouli. Comes "big & cool"!

I've had a lot, smelled a lot.
This is truly the most beautiful scent among them. By far.
I wish it would just last longer -.-

Fresh, spicy, and clean.
I keep thinking about the old spice soap from Dralle.
Sillage is okay, longevity is good.

Oil: very good scent, fresh, citrusy. Slightly resembles Creed Spice & Wood. Unfortunately, very poor projection & longevity.

an ideal companion in summer, especially a nice refreshing spritz in hot temperatures, reminiscent of Schweppes Ginger Ale.
