Fresh organic budget scent
I bought my wife a perfume! If that's not enough for you, don't want to read on from here.
My wife has recently developed a penchant for natural cosmetics and care products and it quickly became clear that she would also like to test Alverde's new fragrances at DM. So I was taken to these women's discount stores as a home stocked competence and corrective in perfume under false pretences - IKEA is not far, they promised me hot dogs!
An unbleached brown recycling carton is printed with green plants and flowers and screams according to eco and organic. The small clear glass cylinder rounded at the top is pleasantly puristic, but I don't like the large, transparent plastic sticker. The real wood overlay on the plastic closure is also supposed to say bio and eco at this point, but for me it's rather a denaturing of resources. I like the atomizer: With one push there is a strong and even spray mist, it doesn't spill.
The first sniff reveals citrus, surrounded by bitter green notes. In the first seconds maybe a little bit stinging, but that's easy, you shouldn't push your nose right after spraying. This opening chord is pleasant and well balanced. However, it does not last very long, after considerably less than an hour the green freshness gives way to a light and delicate flower, very monochrome and simply structured. After another hour something sweet comes along, which for me doesn't necessarily fit with the other two notes, but fortunately doesn't become penetrating or even sticky sweet. After about four hours the scent stops, is no longer perceptible for me.
This fragrance is truly no revelation and so is the appearance. You don't do anything wrong with this fragrance, it's good for "quick in between" or if you don't want to attract attention with your perfume at work. You have to add more in between, but the cloud remains limited to the maximum arm length. Even if this scent is free of any penetrance, I can't help but have to make a comparison with one or the other room spray, which uses similar or identical scent chords.
Among other things, Alverde advertises with the words "natural perfume" and "fragrance essences of 100% natural origin" and refers to certifications. If one sets the laughably low price of just EUR 10.00 for 50ml against it, then one does nothing wrong with this simple and fresh everyday scent.
