Sweet Harmony Alverde 2011

Why can't this Alverde be as outstandingly good as its brother "Oriental Touch"? I tested both in parallel and must say: Against the velvety-oriental impact, "Sweet Harmony" can't hold a candle to it.
"Sweet Harmony" is nice. Not as sweet as expected, no sugary water. It is a slightly sweet floral cinnamon natural soap. Yes, Mausebeer is right: This is a gentle cinnamon scent. The combination of the listed fragrance notes results in cinnamon soap with a bit of flowers.

Even though I love cinnamon in fragrances: "Sweet Harmony" is nothing really intoxicating. Alverde has much better offerings.

The longevity is overall quite okay, but after a short time (for me, already after at most an hour) the intensity reaches deep sleep level. Now I am aware that natural cosmetic ingredients and good longevity are not easy to reconcile. I want to take that into account. Therefore, I also give a full 30%.

A scent like a Langnese ice cream: fruity, delicious, good. "Sweet Harmony" doesn’t aim to meet high expectations like a popsicle; it simply brings good vibes and a desire for summer. It pairs well with cut-off jeans, flip-flops, and a colorful top.

I would categorize this summer fragrance more as a refreshing Eau de Cologne, as it is light and just melts on the skin. For decent longevity, you would have to bathe in it, but that doesn’t bother me at all. Finally, I can really go for it, press down on the spray head, and envelop myself in it. I enjoy it so much that I like to reapply after a short while. Or I might just choose another scent later. At least I see a good chance of actually finishing the bottle.

I can describe the scent in one word: peach ice cream. Since "Lemon Love" smells like lemon ice cream and the bottles are easy to open, I will probably soon mix my very own ice cream cup. However, the longevity of "Lemon Love," which goes in a very similar direction, is even worse. Therefore, I don’t understand why "Sweet Harmony" has been taken off the market.

For me, "Sweet Harmony" is a cheerful companion for sunny days, always fitting and reminding me of a day full of fun at the gravel pit.

This is not a long, elaborate comment, but it might be helpful for some:

For me, "Sweet Harmony" smells quite similar to the Logona Mediterran body lotion! The Alverde EdT is a touch sweeter and therefore a bit more artificial than the Logona lotion, but I find the similarity quite striking.

Alverde has already discontinued the EDT Flower Dream after just a few months and replaced it with the new "Sweet Harmony." Behind the unremarkable name, anything could be hidden, and I was surprised when this scent felt like an old acquaintance.
I immediately think of the steamy Christmas spice rice pudding that I know as the base of the Jungle Elephant by Kenzo. However, the Alverde trunked creature is far less elephantine and stays discreetly close to the skin, creating a pleasantly light, not particularly sweet, and rather subtle cardamom-cinnamon aura.
It does last a few hours in principle, but after about two hours, its intensity weakens to that of a body spray, even if you apply quite a bit. If you want to remain detectable to others for longer, your clothing will need to absorb some of it.
In the final stretch, it smells somewhat "strange," as if the spice dessert had been sitting in the sun for too long. I can't quite pinpoint what that is. But that doesn't really matter since Sweet Harmony has already nearly evaporated below the threshold of perception by then.
For a natural cosmetics product at a very affordable price, it's not bad. A slender pachyderm with an exotic spice whisper that doesn't trample on anyone's nose.

I, as the ultimate summer fragrance hater ..... have actually found a summer scent! This one.

Sweet....warm but somehow fresh and spicy.... quite voluminous ..... veeeery delicious
Personally, I can't smell anything distinctly fruity or floral, or only in tendencies....everything is beautifully intertwined and smells to me like warm apricot milk tart with cream ...

- strange but this little fragrance ... (it unfortunately disappears quite quickly .. especially in contrast to my usual heavy hitters^^) it smells lukewarm ... like a breeze .. soft and caressing and also creamy and mmmmmmh simply delicious!
