My Little Spring Friend
Once again a "cheap scent" for a change, from our local drugstore.

"Like a first day in spring" is wishful thinking on my part, as it unfortunately doesn't look like that outside. I hope to conjure up a bit of spring (in my heart) with this.

Yesterday I took it home with me, as its fresh, fruity top note pleasantly lifted my spirits, which is not too bad on a gray, damp, cold February day.
Sure, the longevity is not particularly great, sure, it is not a revelation, not a fragrance statement or a masterpiece, it is just a small pleasant scent that lifts the mood towards cheerfulness.
The heart note is fruit, round and dark (blackberry), I don't smell anything of praline, and only a hint of rose, but "who cares?"
I took the little version for 2.99 home with me, and besides my wrists, I also scented my bed linen. I fell asleep comfortably with it and had very nice dreams, waking up cheerfully to a new steel-gray, damp, cold February day. What more could I want?

I even like the "Day in Spring" better than its family member from Essence, "like a day in a candy shop," which I also have. And here too, the price-performance ratio is more than satisfactory; you can't go wrong here.
Of course, I only recommend it if you are willing to descend from the "fragrance Olympus" to the "lowlands," which I occasionally enjoy doing.

The dry down of this little scent is also cheerful, pleasantly vanilla-sandalwood, loosely powdery.
It is not a "great formulation," you have smelled something like this and similar before, it is not "outstanding," it does not inspire intellectual flights of fancy, but hey, it is simply pretty and pleasantly uncomplicated. And that is quite enough for today.

Sparkling Fruity Spring Fragrance
Like a first day in spring is also a fruity-sweet fragrance, but in contrast to Like a girl's night out, it comes across as fresher, more sparkling, and also a bit more floral.

I can distinctly smell blackberry and rose, underpinned by zesty notes, probably from the citrus fruits. This interplay creates a very special note that I haven't perceived in any other fragrance. I imagine it to taste like blackberry spritzer with a tablespoon of rose syrup and 2 splashes of lemon juice. The name is fitting; the scent truly suits spring and even summer very well.
I can't say whether I would describe the fragrance more as fruity or more as floral; it is a balanced mix of both that lifts the spirits and somehow conveys a sense of lightness.

Unfortunately, the longevity and sillage are only in the medium range here as well, but it lasts a good 4-5 hours.

My Everyday Scent
When the essence fragrances entered the drugstore range, I was initially skeptical. essence is for me the typical teenage makeup brand, even though I myself own many products at 22. "The scents are probably more for 15-year-olds," I thought.

In fact, I don't like the others like "Like a day in a candy shop" or "Like a trip to New York" at all. However, "Like a first day in spring" completely surprised me: it is a typical spring scent, very fresh and also floral. The rose scent unfolds very strongly on my skin, as do the notes of citrus fruits, which give the fragrance a very fruity touch. However, I notice little of vanilla and sandalwood.

Personally, I love the combination of fresh and fruity, and the floral note doesn't bother me here, even though I am otherwise not a fan of overly floral scents. By now, "Like a first day in spring" has become one of my favorite everyday fragrances, as I don't have to use it sparingly due to the low price. The 10 ml bottle ran out relatively quickly for me, which is why I recently got the 50 ml.

One downside is unfortunately the longevity: after a few hours, there isn't much left of the perfume, which I think is to be expected in this price range.

Spring Morning
It is a warm spring morning.
The air is clear and filled with ripe pears. I am sitting on a swing hanging from a pear tree, letting the surroundings wash over me. Everywhere, white blossoms are scattered by the gentle breeze.
Now and then, I catch a floral hint carried here from the adjacent flower field.
I pick a plump, green pear from a low-hanging branch and take a delicious bite. The sweet freshness unfolds in my mouth and caresses my palate.
Even after some time, the sweetness has not faded, but envelops me in its light veil.

Finally Spring!
I just bought the fragrance yesterday, so I can't say
much about it yet, but it is definitely a typical spring scent,
that fits perfectly with the current weather. I got it in the 10ml
version, but I will definitely get the 50ml version as well. I'm also
satisfied with its counterpart "like a girls night out."

Promising, the name... but it could also have been called "Vernella." Or "Dufty" or "Küschelweisch." Or just "Leneur."

Bought it again, the bottle was empty. Light, fresh-sweet spring air. Pleasant, unobtrusive, fun-playful, yet subtle + refined.

Sweet and floral. Good for everyday wear, not annoying, but a woman doesn’t necessarily need it. One bottle is enough for me.

Unfortunately, I only smell synthetic fruit mixes on my skin. What a shame, it could have been so lovely. It reminds me of cheap hairspray.

Fresh-fruity, carefree, lightly floral-rosy, with a hint of fizz - reminds me of sparkling blackberry soda with rose syrup in summer.

It's fruity and lightly fresh but unfortunately has a bit of a sharpness. It fades very quickly, so it's only good for a quick spritz.

Yes, for the price, you really can't complain. Fruity, sweet, it develops into a cozy scent. The mini bottle is empty, won't be repurchased...

I found it too soapy and not fresh enough during the test, probably due to the sweet components.
