Spicier than Del Mar

I find this scent distinctly spicier and woodier than the original Del Mar version. It is very fresh and salty in the top note; I can almost taste the sea. However, the scent is not aquatic but rather comes through the salty aroma.
The heart note becomes softer, the salt and freshness slowly fade, and the fragrance shifts to a woody, soft profile, making this scent excellent for a summer evening, but the woody notes also allow it to be worn well in the fall.
All in all, a successful variation of Del Mar.

Impulse buy without a prior scent test...

"Del Mar Marbella" by Baldessarini has probably been discontinued last year with the turquoise "D....". I was just on site and the bright red -50% sticker drove me to an impulse buy, as I have never encountered anything truly bad from Baldessarini.

The scent itself is not spectacular but smells very pleasant. Well dosed, it is good to wear in summer; in colder seasons, the old butcher's saying "Would you like a little more?" applies.

What confuses me: I perceive the scent notes in reverse order. Right after application, the fragrance on me smells rather dominant. I first notice the earthy and woody aromas. Over time, the bitter note fades, and it transforms into aqua nuances with salty notes and the light citrus influence of grapefruit.

In my mind, the scent progression resembles a walk from a wooded mountain down to the beach, where you can smell the sea so vividly that you believe you can taste the saltwater in your mouth.

and at first I thought too,
somehow good,

but I have to say, it is a niche fragrance and is already being removed from many perfumeries,
you can wear it in summer.
I have the impression that I don't smell it for long myself, for this reason I also suspect that it doesn't last particularly long.
