He's a no-go
That was the opinion of my friend when she smelled Greenwich Village. I got Greenwich Village as a small bottling with a purchase in the souk. I have honestly never interested in this fragrance. So I did not know at all what to expect here.

Unfortunately, a lot of things await you after spraying it on, but nothing good. I smell here just BR 540 combined with a load of indefinable fruit notes. I must say here at this point I do not like BR 540 at all, but when I read the fragrance pyramid I would never guess a similarity here. Unfortunately, Greenwich Village is again significantly worse for me than BR 540 due to this really penetrating fruity note Greenwich Village seems so muddled and not balanced. In short I find it really awful. I just smell saffron and can not detect any other fragrance notes here except vanilla.

It really is a horrible scent to me. It could also have happened an accident in the laboratory and all fragrance notes have run each other.

Greenwich Village holds unfortunately also like glue, on the skin over 15 hours, longer I could not test it because I showered. On clothes Greenwich Village lasts through days and even a wash has not been able to remove the scent 100%.

I give the fragrance but still 4 points, because there are certainly BR 540 fans who like that rather than me.

Fruity-cooler Gutelauneduft
The first thought was fruity, cool makes good mood and fits somehow always to the Aufboostern. Clearly the Ambroxan is a dominant ingredient, but is well packaged and suppressed by the many fruits - well so it is pleasantly gentle. The development remains fruity and tasty, with the vanilla and praline topping just very tasty, to nibble on. I find that 99 out of 100 people can wear it and like it, is such a good mood companion. After about 1 hour it smells like a fruit variation impregnated with white chocolate. See him more in spring and summer, for the cool season he lacks warmth and depth. Bottle in the great green-turquoise is a dream, the price is real olala and unfortunately not suitable for every purse.

To be honest, I do like this fragrance when I can smell it. And that's the problem.. it's very faint on me.
