Welcome to Campino Candy Wonderland
So... ;-) I never get tired of saying that I am a fan of fresh and fruity scents. Especially fruity fragrances that contain citrus notes. No wonder I can't resist a perfume called "Fresh Orange."
So I waited for a good deal and then went for it. Marching happily home and testing it.
And yes, I definitely smell 100% orange. I can also recognize vanilla and buttermilk. And this combination results in... wait for it...
Campino Orange Cream Candies.
I know some of you will laugh now, while others will wonder what I'm talking about.
I immediately associate Campino candies with childhood memories. Those are the candies that mom always had in her bag during summer vacations. As a child, I spent what felt like hours trying to get the plastic off those sticky things. I loved them. ;-)
These candies came (or come? I'm not exactly sure) in all sorts of flavors. At some point, Campino released new flavors, including strawberry cream, raspberry cream, coffee cream, and ta-da, orange cream.
And that's exactly how this perfume smells. I'm still unsure whether I like it or not. Because despite the "fresh orange," it is extremely sweet. I tried it on a particularly hot day, and I have to say that it bothered me after a while. (Headache alert)
On cooler days, it might not be so bad. The longevity is quite good at over 5 hours, and the sillage is okay and not too strong, which I prefer in sweet scents; you don't want to torture those around you.
It's definitely worth a try. And I think I need to keep an eye out for Campino candies on my next shopping trip. ;-)
