A woody Bond9
Lovely woody unisex,
wow when i first tried this one i was super surprised,
I did not know what to expect until i tried this on my hand. Super woody and some kind of fruity (plum) like Tom ford plum japonais.
However i think this is a more masculine one, Pretty good projection for the first two or three hours and lasting on skin for hours.
So love it. Definitely a good one.

Cedar Perfection!
I have never found a cedar-based fragrance that is more perfect that this one. Other than the wood notes, the other notes enhance the cedar, not overwhelm it. Smells like I'm walking in a Midwestern forest in the summer. Generally I find Bond perfumes to smell too chemical, but I love this one.

Overlaps with Andy Warhol...
My impression is that these I LOVE NEW YORK series perfumes from Bond no 9 are a product of modular perfuming, using building blocks from some of the other already launched perfumes. In the case of FOR MARRIAGE EQUALITY, I'm catching some serious wafts of something like a pared-down version of ANDY WARHOL (the purple bottle with Warhol's image on it). So, yes, incense, purple plum, and various and sundry woody elements and other orientalia.

This smells pretty good. It is less fruity than ANDY WARHOL (no peach here), somewhat less rich (no labdanum, either) and I imagine that most people who buy this particular installment in the line-up are not going to be perfume connoisseurs and will have no experience with most, if any, of the perfumes from this house. No harm done, is my view on the matter. If Bond no 9 needs to come up with these sorts of gimmicks to stay solvent, then that's fine with me. The quality is still better than most mainstream designer flankers.

“Elena! Jadwiga! Anuschka! Sergej! Get to the staff room immediately! No time for cigarettes - we have a problem. Look!”
“Booshe!”
“Way too … yes … Vladimir won’t like this.”
“He won’t let the OMOH come, and if he does, we’ll take photos - in front of the mirrors.” *
“There will be trouble, one way or another.”
“Only solution is to re-bottle! The allocation was expensive after all.”
"My Babushka Ekaterina Molotowa can knit protective covers, she has so many colorful yarn scraps!"
“No, no, not colorful!” “Solid color, solid color” “Not pink, definitely not pink!”
“And then we’ll rename it: I love NY for guerilla knitting! - Exclusively at TSUM.” Sergej, start building a new display.”

*stolen from NDR, Dennis and Jesko, but the joke is too good to disappear in the late-night program.

First, there’s a micro dose of Carmol (it took me days to reactivate this memory) and presumably this is what makes the top note shine. The plum appears as it should, certainly spiced not only with nutmeg but with some more Christmas-like spices.
After that, ILNYFME develops a distinct tendency towards candied bitter fruit peel, like the Italians do with their pomerances. The spice lingers longer, but feels subtle and smokes itself a bit, though secretly in the farthest corner. Up to this point, I find the scent pleasant. Unfortunately, the rose now smells a bit musty.
After twelve hours, there’s still the soft, generally pleasing base that doesn’t hurt anyone and is also a bit uninteresting for me.
For me, it’s not a desired candidate, but how many of us straight guys wouldn’t put this scent in their bathroom to avoid being considered enchanted, even though they like the fragrance?

Candied and spiced mandarins are served for dessert at Bond's wedding dinner. White flowers are on the table. Plums are already out.

The hobbits are munching on Christmas-spiced plum jam with lots of nutmeg at the amber wood table. Cozy warmth. The flowers are next door.

Woody and aromatic-spicy, like almost all Bond fragrances, it blossoms into its full beauty after about two hours! Absolutely unisex, long-lasting!

On wooden parquet, white blossoms in the hair, dancing intimately with spicy and fruity sweetness. Love is when the heart beats faster.

I generally find the bottles from Bond ugly, and the rainbow colors take it to another level. However, the notes are easy to pick up…

Plum jam with lots of nutmeg served in a wooden barrel, not too sweet, a little rose petal added, interesting and unusual :)

A gentle yet assertively aromatic mandarin beautifully takes center stage, supported by plum-floral notes. Wow! Incense after 30 min.

Beautiful woody floral unisex scent with a great top note! Longevity and sillage are good but could be better!

Nutmeg with plum, slightly sharp (wakes you up) - a brief shift to floral, then a quick transition to the base with sandalwood and cashmere wood.
