Righteous Scent!
Yo....this joint is fire! I get a buttery...creme butler vibe...mixed with a hint of coffee and cocoa.

I try not to wear it often cuz I love it. I will always keep this in stock until I check out. Bond 9 is on!

Interesting!
Nothing new, smells good I just blind bought this in 100ml and I can not say that I am happy, but I am not disappointed neither.
It opens very harsh to me,after it settles down starts to become more pleasant, more sweet, more cacao/coffee-ish. Projection and sillage are average nothing breathtaking.
The only thing I hate about this fragrance,or I should say about this house is
Who the h*ll designs these bottles?! They are ugly! They look like toys for children.

One Word: Beautiful.
This is so beautiful. When you first put it on you may feel this leans a bit feminine. However, give it about 10-15mins and this is when the fragrance will reveal it's true unisex profile.

In fact, I believe this works even better for men than women. Not that it leans more masculine, but in the sense of someone smelling this on a woman may short shrift it as just another woman wearing a pretty perfume. Whereas, the person smelling this on a guy may double back, analyzing the smell more and instantly become intoxicated by the juxtaposition of the scent and the wearer. Especially if you're a sharp dressing gent.

Altho this is a fun scent, it's very versatile. You can wear it out for dinner, date night, upscale clubbing, Winter, Fall, Spring, daytime, evenings...I just wouldn't wear it to work and I wouldn't wear it in the Summer. That's just me.

This scent is suppose evoke intrigue. Make people inhale as it hits their nose; DRAW them in as they find out it's you.

BUT, a little goes a long way. If you drench yourself in this, safe for going clubbing, you will noticably see people trying to scout out the person to move AWAY from. And it LASTS!

The house of Bond have really beautiful scents that's not always going to be obvious loves from the beginning because your nose may not have a reference for what it is you're smelling. Like, if you smell a blue scent the reference is clear (e.g. shower gel, soap, axe body spray, etc..) and whether it's generic or not, it's going to "smell good" to the majority from the first whiff. But in the case of unique scents, it takes time for you to resolve if it's good or bad because you have no reference.

Reference is everything. If that makes sense.

Until the next inspiration!

Streetwear Cocoa Puffs
I recently rehomed a bottle of this at a scent swap (after picking it up at another scent swap), and while it ultimately didn't fit my lifestyle or my collection, it definitely made its mark.

If I had to give a brief pitch for this fragrance? BritPop Cocoa Puffs. A chocolatey, nutty opening hides something a bit dirty, a bit cheeky. A streetwear gourmand.

Personally the bergamot opening was lost on me - there wasn't a citrus in sight (in scent?) for my nose. This opens with an immediate thick gourmand and leans further into the creamy vanilla/sandalwood combo over time, with patchouli adding a wonderful edge to the whole affair that sets it apart from more gourmand treatments of these notes.

I'm not huge on Bond No. 9 as a brand and wouldn't likely have encountered this frag had it not shown up at a scent swap earlier this year. Our time together was brief - only a few wild, experimental nights on the town - but I won't be forgetting her any time soon.

yum yum
My oh my; this is a gourmand masterpiece. The scent is so rich and full, it leaves almost a creme brûlée vibe behind. The notes are so pure, you literally smell a fantastic dessert in the blend. Creamy, and rich, and addicting. It’s Absolutely fantastic. Kind of a buttery, ALMOST coffee laced cocoa feel to it. If you want to experience a true gourmand, have a peek at this one.

Makes you happy: milk steam, chestnuts, wood - a fine pinch of pepper rounds it off.

Bitter spicy start?!?? Hmm. Coffee to wash it down is nice. No sugar please. But with cocoa powder. Sandalwood is gentle.

For me, not a gourmand, because the deliciousness is simply missing. It's sweet, almost syrupy but lacks a recognizable direction. Not nice.

Sandalwood with a slightly bitter aroma of roasted coffee, cocoa, and earth. In the background, a rutting stag. I don't smell anything sweet here.
