A more mass appealing release

Oud Pour Klassik contrary to what the notes represent, what I mostly get from this one is a fresh strong sharp musk olfactive profile with aromatic qualities coming from geranium and what I think a touch of lavender, spices and a touch of fresh woods in the base which may also come from patchouli due to its very subtle green earthy feeling. I also get a somewhat sea salty airy quality that makes me think of aquatic fragrances, which is a style of fragrances I strongly dislike.

Nonetheless putting my taste aside, this is a well crafted perfume, with very mass appealing qualities, in a way it reminds me of some best seller Xerjoffs from the velvet line, which also share this strong sharp molecular quality, I get a similar profile here, although not for my personal taste, I’m pretty sure many will love it.

A fresh, strong aromatic fragrance with mass appealing qualities, I don’t personally get any oud from it, nor any animalic qualities. A safe, mass appealing scent with some niche character put into it.

Oud pour klassik

When I first got it, I thought it was cloning MFK L’homme a la rose, but later on after several full wears…damn Khadlaj made it’s own creation and it’s one of the cleanest scent I have ever smelled and far far better rose fragrance than MFK as I anticipated firstly.

Fresh rose wet petals, with citruses up top and some musk in the background to make it rounder and cleaner.

Longevity is like all day on skin and 2-3 days on clothes.

Don’t get me wrong this is not a projection monster is light and airy, longevity being its main attribute but people will smell you and most probably like the way you smell,
clean in a unique way.

Absolute gem from Khadlaj 10/10.

The scent of quiet tones

I had had my eye on this fragrance for a long time.
However, since I couldn't find a bottling, I had to buy it blind after much hesitation.
The special thing about it: according to some influencers who advertise for Khadlaj, Oud pour Klassik is supposed to be made from 100% natural ingredients, I've never had a perfume like this before.

But I have to say, I regretted the blind purchase a little.
I'm not a big fan of fresh fragrances and had secretly hoped this one would be really unique.
Although I don't know of any fragrance that resembles it, it somehow lacks that certain something that would make it really stand out.

The fragrance starts with lots of creamy musk and fresh bergamot.
The musk is immediately present, while the bergamot gradually gains prominence.
For me, the musk smells slightly "old school", which fits perfectly with the name "Oud Pour Klassik".
However, there is absolutely no hint of the eponymous oud.

In general, all the notes are very subtle.
Even the rose geranium, which adds a light floral note as the fragrance progresses, is barely perceptible.
The cedar wood also only lends the fragrance a very gentle woody quality.
At its core, it remains a fresh, slightly aquatic fragrance with subtle woody and floral nuances, accompanied by a pleasant, creamy musky note.

Most people will like this fragrance.
However, those looking for something truly unique will not be entirely satisfied with the Oud pour Klassik.

The performance is a clear plus.
For a fresh fragrance with natural ingredients, the longevity and sillage are really impressive.
I perceive it intensely for 3-4 hours, after which it accompanies me as a subtle cloud of fragrance.
It lasts 8-9 hours on the skin.

Is the fragrance unisex? I would say yes.
The creamy musky note also makes it very wearable for women (M60%/40%W).

To summarize, I can say that although the fragrance did not completely convince me, it is by no means bad.
On the contrary, it's a real mass-pleaser in my opinion, just not quite my taste.
