The packaging already gives you an idea of what this is all about. You virtually open a "leather" box and see a golden bottle with a beautiful inscription.
When you spray it on, you immediately smell the nutmeg, saffron and oud notes that Lattafa is known for. This is joined by a very, very nice leather note.
The H/S of this fragrance is very good for Lattafa! I mean that Lattafa basically already has good to very good longevity, but this fragrance is more in the strong to very strong direction in relation to the H/S
What I noticed here
I have to say that some spices are constantly repeated in Lattafa and you can smell them "again". Which is basically not a bad thing unless you are absolutely not a fan of them.
Take for example
Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud and
Oud Mood Eau de Parfum and this one "Qaa'ed | Lattafa / لطافة"
ALL 3 have saffron in the top note and also somewhat in the further course of the fragrance. You can also smell it clearly and it is the same in all 3! If you don't like them, it's best to leave all 3 fragrances behind (:
I can also clearly smell other familiar fragrances, which I won't go into any further. What I want to get at is that I have the feeling or smell that Lattafa takes a kind of "basic base" of fragrance notes and always mixes in a new twist.
Here in "Qaa'ed | Lattafa / لطافة" it's the leather, in
Oud Mood Eau de Parfum it's the rose, in
Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud it's the resinous, woody notes.
In themselves, the fragrances are all good and the H/S is partly bomb! But they don't differ too much. Anyone expecting a completely different fragrance may be disappointed.
