Oriental rum bomb
Right at the start, rum and tuberose race head to head. A hammersill layer that lasts for about 2-3 hours. Then it gets weaker and closer to the skin, but still better than some or many other fragrances. Oriental, masculine, heavy, spicy and actually not sweet I would describe this fragrance. I would emphasize the rum as the dominant note, but it is never intrusive.
The scent is very noticeable and you should be careful with the dosage. Maybe apply only two or three sprays during the first "external test" to see how the scent develops on your own skin. As I said, it was quite violent for me in the first two to three hours, and I only had one sprayer on my forearm. After that the Sillage collapses a little and you have to get closer with your nose. However, I don't yet have the feeling that I will have to do more - the performance is still sufficient.
It is a really very pleasant, great fragrance, which is perhaps a little loud in the first minutes, but then it swings in nicely and remains for a few hours a quite conspicuous, unusual, oriental companion. You don't smell it very often, at least not here in Vienna, and that's exactly how it should be, something special :-). The ladies like him on the man - I could notice that too. I wouldn't necessarily wear it in the office because it's too unusual, but I'd rather wear it in the evening, on dates or events, etc..
By the way, the bottle is a Schas, as they say here in Vienna. You can lock the spray head by turning it 90°, but that's quite a problem with my specimen at least, and I thought I broke it. After turning back and forth a bit, it worked again, but the hook is still doing it. Well, I'd rather leave the locking mechanism, otherwise it'll be really broken soon. Cheap plastic and not worthy of the quality of the fragrance. This concerns only the upper part of the flacon, the rest is of course glass and ok. What might still bother me is the opacity of the bottle, where you can't see how much is still inside.
