Overpriced bathroom spray/artificial candy.
Only a few days ago I was thinking that Bvlgari was one of the fairly" safe to blind buy from" . And that I always at least liked or tolerated their scents even if I wasn't head over heels in love with all of them. I must have jinxed myself.
On my skin Paraiba opens with mashed bananas ( baby food) with a side order of artificially flavored and colored banana candy ( recall those hard candies shaped like the flavors they were supposed to be? Those.)
A few minutes drydown reveals a " tropical floral " heart --unfortunately it strongly reminds me of some bathroom deodorizer spray ( green can Glade? Febreeze?) which my dad uses whenever he's let off a big stink bomb in there. Honestly I dislike this " tropical " stuff so much, I'd rather smell the stink bomb.
Base is beginning to appear--a clean musk and freshness of vetiver . This part is rather pleasant, if it didn't have the ( repulsive to me ) top and heart notes overshadowing it.

I'm reviewing from a sample I acquired free from Sephora, thankfully NOT from a blind bought bottle. Enough of this,I'm off to scrub....

South Sea Sun
"Omnia Paraiba" is an excellent, young, and playful cocktail fragrance. For the Caribbean, for the South Seas, for parties like beach days. Whether Brazil or Curacao, whether the Dominican Republic or the Maldives. With this turquoise grin in flacon form, the sun always seems to shine. Probably the final and youngest of all Omnias. The latter applies to both the target audience and its release.

The scent is primarily sparkling, fruity, and colorful. You can almost taste the passion fruit, and it rocks every place, hut, beach bar, or pool. But what makes this vacation scent better than many of its peers, mostly flankers or summer editions, is its backbone. Fine vetiver makes it almost unisex. Simply refreshing and sporty, delicious and positively naive. A lively find, with which you can never go wrong during summer vacation. Only very occasionally does it come off as somewhat artificial and lab-like, at least when you bury your nose too deep into the skin. But no normal person does that. Only we perfume enthusiasts from time to time.

Flacon: if there wasn't so much plastic involved, it would still be one of the most beautiful designer flacons on the market.
Sillage: no aggressive punch, rather a decent drink.
Longevity: this beach club lasted 4 hours.

Conclusion: the definition of easy-to-wear. Especially on vacation. You just have to pull the stick out of your backside. Then you have fun! Unforced, likeable, exotic.

Oh Island In The Sun....
.... I would like to sing that if I could only sing, but let's leave it at that.

I just came home from a little jogging round. It’s cold and yet I’m sweating a bit, so I was looking forward to a hot shower. And what do I see: A package is lying in front of the
front door, the scent is here. I AM EXCITED

Omnia Paraiba, WHAT a name. (No idea what that means, I should look it up).
A fragrance that, as a layperson, I imagine scents to be, just like it might smell on a Caribbean island.
Fruity and floral sweet, that’s how it actually smells all the time. I can’t detect a scent progression, but that doesn’t matter because this composition is simply brilliantly made.
It delights my heart and my soul.
I can’t say more about it, nor do I need to.

Try it out for yourselves, even if you’re not a fan of fruity notes, this one will please you. And not just in summer, even now it creates a feeling that blissful sun, fragrant fruits, combined with friendly floral-sweet bundles fill the air.
Ah - you really start to dream, at least I do

Take care (Hopefully you don’t think I’m crazy, dreaming of the Caribbean during
the Advent season) tz tz tz

passionate non-swimmer
Today I fished a turquoise cover out of my surprise bag.
Aha - Omnia paraiba.

This fragrance immediately set my thoughts sailing.
I don’t like being in the water - but I do enjoy being on it.

Above me, the azure sky shines, and the white bow of the proud ship plows through the choppy turquoise waves.

On deck, a cool breeze caresses my sun-warmed skin, and the rise and fall of the ship is extremely soothing.

I think of my great-uncle, a well-traveled sea captain - and how I, a passionate non-swimmer.
In his view, the best prerequisite for a good sailor.

The ship is like a large cradle - and the wind sings the lullaby.

It brings distant Curacao orange with it, and the relaxing aroma of passionflower.
The gardenia blooms fully on the shore, and the scent of cocoa wafts from the galley.
Safety in the vastness of the sea.
Sweet vetiver lingers in the air - the ship begins to gently roll, and I feel pleasantly drowsy.
Up - down. Up - down.

In my dream, I am a daring pirate maiden - and the brave conqueror of the seven seas.

a cocktail at the beach bar
Bvlgari "Omnia Paraiba" is for me a pure summer fragrance.
A scent that embodies sun, beach, and sea, and a lot of Brazilian feeling.

In my imagination, "Omnia Paraiba" develops into a nice summer cocktail:
a base of Curacao bitter orange (a few alcohol percentages get the circulation going), adding passion fruit and flower, as well as a considerable portion of candied, intensely fragrant Brazilian gardenia.
Now everything is shaken a little for the first time!
Cocoa beans and vetiver give this liquid beach magic a bit of longevity, a certain foundation.
Add crushed ice and shake well; then strain.
Perhaps a little sparkling, bubbly addition - and serve with a fun "drinking straw"!
Salute!

"Paraiba" is a bit of an outlier, even in the rather adventurous fragrance series "Omnia" by Bvlgari: for me, its fruity sweetness is somewhat out of the ordinary.
It really only fits the height of summer: with short summer dresses, warm nights, and lots of samba, à la Copacabana!

Like many of the Bvlgari fragrances, "Omnia Paraiba" does not last very long. When reapplying, please do so with a bit of feeling!
On well-warmed skin, otherwise a certain "double wow" effect could occur!
(This was even the case for me with "fish blood".)

The bottle again consists of the well-known two rings: this time inspired by the color of the Paraiba tourmaline.
This gemstone is found in the state of Paraiba in northeastern Brazil and shows, besides green and blue, many (soft to radiant) intermediate tones. Whether it’s such a radiant turquoise as here - I don’t know.

I have been experimenting with the "Omnia" fragrances for a while. As a classic Bvlgari fan, they are all a bit of an adjustment for me.
So far, only "Crystalline" has truly managed to win me over; however, with "ringing play and fluttering flags"!

Surely "Omnia Paraiba" will find its admirers. I will not be among them, but I find it quite entertaining and amusing.
Just as a summer intermezzo should be!

A small island in the vast ocean. The white foam of the waves washes over my feet. It smells of passion fruit and exotic flowers.

Just a little fruit salad. Very sweet, very nice, doesn't hurt anyone, but also leaves no lasting impression. Oh well.

A Banshee scent from Avatar. A bit of the screeching creature swirls in turquoise trails in my fragrance heart. Tamed exotic.

Watery fruity floral that oddly derives its charm from its synthetic-aquatic volatility. Still mediocre.

Alberto really kicks the creepy Escada summer scents in the butt - this is how a squeaky fruity fragrance should be! Yummy! :)

Fruity mix - but no passion fruit for me. A few flowers with shampoo vibes added. Sweet fruity-floral, fresh out of the lab.

I admit - without the beautiful bottle and the fragrance name - I wouldn't have tested it. But passion fruit with a chocolate opening is great. It's fun!
