.... and I really am a dandelion
I'm transported back to being a child on a huge sunny lawn. I'm on my knees in the newly cut grass, with my bare legs being tickled by ants and the grass stems. The earth is earthy, the grass is grassy, the sun is sunny and the sky is cloudless. I'm picking the dandelions and the stems insides are staining my hands in a gummy, milky, sticky, sappy, slightly acrid, green. The peppery, honeyed centre slightly sweetening the green and the earthy aroma. The sap of the stems and the cut grass is all around me and I can conjure it all from this little magical vial of perfume. This particular fragrance of all those I have ever tried, embodies one of my favourite experiences in perfume. To be able to evoke a powerful response in the imagination. I wouldn't say this was to wear, but it is a magic carpet for the mind. Every time I put this on, I could just hug Mr. Brosius for making this one. It is like keeping a prized childhood toy in a perfume.
