Figs, Twigs, Honey
I fell in love with this scent immediately which is saying a lot since I had sampled about 20 other scents that day on a beautiful street filled with fragrance boutiques in LA. This is the one that haunted me later that night and into the next day. I still think of it as the first and finest introduction I've had to the genre of fig leave and tree scents. This scent fills me with the feeling of sun dappled leaves and twigs crunching under foot in the late Summer/ early Fall. This scent is very natural and yet bewitching to my nose, I definitely kept going back to smell my wrist and the lovely natural green leafy note, nutty fig wood (not the full sweet syrupy juicy fig fruit) is expertly blended with the golden honey, to create a swirl of angelic edible sauce. An exuberant trek through the secret forest, a chance sighting of a robust Doe grazing, momentarily free from the danger of the hunter's bow. Sweet green and edible life! This fragrance is not cloying or sickly sweet and I prefer it to L'Artisan's Premier Figuier Extreme and L'Occitane's Honey (Miel & Citron)- both of which have some common notes but fall short of Revelation's third eye opening revelation.
