Teenager fragrances
bought in 2014 thanks to an advantageous price offered by my works council. I had already discovered it in the summer of 2009 at the sephora at the Gare de Lyon in Paris.

it is a light summer fragrance, fresh aquatic and synthetic, ultimately quite banal. even if it is really pleasant in the evening. I liked it at the time because I had not yet discovered so many nuggets in perfumery.

With hindsight, I tell myself that it is much more suitable for a young teenager, for his first perfumes.

It seems to me that it is no longer marketed in France.

Someone gave this to me as a gift
and the durability is just as bad as people say it is. The fragrance doesn’t change, the projection bubble is very small, and the sillage is nonexistent. The longevity problems aren’t exaggerated; this one dies out in barely 2 hours. Then it becomes an absolutely SOFT skin scent. A very nice scent; very bright and fresh. The top notes are all you ever really smell throughout the fragrances entire life. It only projects about 2ft maximum, for maybe an hour or two, and I‘m lucky if I get 4 hours of longevity. It’s such a mellow scent, that I don’t think that it was designed to have any sort of sillage trail or projection bubble. It’s probably best for an office work/school environment; it won’t be overbearing, or annoying to anyone around you, and it will keep a nice fresh vibe. You can barely smell it as a skin scent 6 hours later; a VERY close resonance. It’s not very expensive, so if you like freshies, you might give it a test look. Just be prepared to pack it and shoot it every 4 hours.

Promises, but doesn't deliver
CK Free is a fragrance that promises so much, yet delivers so little. The notes in the pyramid look absolutely amazing; however the scent in the bottle bears little to no resemblance to those notes. That said it's not actually a bad fragrance. It's clean, light and fresh. Unfortunately it's also very generic and very run-of-the-mill.

I'm happy to set this one free
I'm a little shocked by looking at the notes listed here. CK Free doesn't smell as unique as its composition.

I'm in agreeance with the other reviewers, CK Free is very bland and boring. It's missing something that makes it stand out from the rest of the male scents on the market.

CK Free is not unpleasant, I find it very wearable, however it has a very citrusy and fresh edge that is starting to become a little overdone in the fragrance industry. I don't see citrus listed here in the notes, but I swear I can smell some bergamot and lemon with an almost aquatic type note.

The woods are not very prominent. In fact, the oak and cedar are so subtle that they could be easily dismissed. More in the way of the juniper berries, coffee and patchouli would have given this fragrance an interesting touch and would have made this fragrance far more complex than it is.

All in all, CK Free is a pleasant Summer scent that just hasn't managed to reach the mark with me.

For me this brings back many memories. Despite the bad ratings this fragrance is just fresh and comforting. For the price, no complaints.

Bad. That's the word that simplifies what this perfume is.

Don't ever buy this scent. Horrible smell and short performance. Just don't.

Generic but fresh scent despite having tobacco leaf. It just doesn't stick around at all, 15-20 minutes and barely skin scent.
