Have you ever wished for your aftershave to last for 5 hours?
Subdued sweetness of the juniper berry and cozy aromatic lavender – great! A somewhat synthetic coconut note blended together with the woody backdrop – shower gel-like, but okay. Burnt rubber undertones from the Sichuan pepper – not ideal, but fleeting.
It never strayed more than half an arm's length away from my skin, and about ~1,5 hours in settled on it entirely. No major changes in flavor profile – it just slowly got softer, and in another ~3,5 hours completely faded.
Eh. Honestly, if it smelled just a bit more natural, I'd have no complaints. It doesn't do anything new or special, but it's clean, fresh and aromatic – as advertised; and is soft enough not to feel grating. Baby's first aftershave – not that great in the grand scheme of things, but it's always lovely to see a young man making an effort.
Left me kind of bored, but also thinking that I wouldn't mind if more people on the streets smelled like this instead of whatever counterfeit Sauvage they're currently drenching themselves in. All in all, for its price – I think it's adequate both in quality and in performance. And, imo, more interesting than the original Eternity for Men Eau de Toilette .
