I absolutely love this scent on a man. It's really sexy yet mild, (it's not one of those fragrances that a man will feel shy wearing).

Euphoria is soapy, clean and fresh with that little something to drive the women crazy. It's crispness is exactly how a man should smell just when he steps out of the shower.

The pepper, ginger and suede notes make such a sexy and unique fragrance, something that would only smell sexy on a man. I just love snuggling up to a man wearing Euphoria, it's so comforting and cosy.

I love this scent so much that I buy this for every boy I know.

If Kisses were Purple Raindrops

Euphoria is an emotional state in which a person experiences pleasure or excitement and intense feelings of well-being and happiness. Certain drugs, many of which are addictive, can cause Euphoria, which at least partially motivates their recreational use. And Calvin Klein Euphoria for men is such an addictive scent, a fresh oriental fragrance that blends modern freshness with a sexy, creamy signature.

I rushed into CK Euphoria just recently while seeking for a spring scent reminiscent of rain. Albeit I have been using CK Truth since the very moment it was released to the market, and it was pure love at a first sniff, I was not conscious of this other underrated and hidden jewel from CK. Honestly, because of its deep pink juice color (oops, purple rain?), I awkwardly associated it with a sugary and cloying thing, and therefore I stayed away from it. How much stupid and biased I was for miserably neglecting this scent so far?

CK Euphoria is all about a vigorous and tempting mix of a ginger-pepper cocktail, an addictive greenish-black basil leaves, and a creamy suede accord, and the name itself serves its purpose, naturally euphoric.
The scent opens up with a rupture of the spicy, zesty, and ozonic accord. Notably, there is a tart fresh-cut ginger root topped with juiced sudachi, a Japanese citrus fruit that has a zestier flavor and aroma than lemon or lime, and a raindrop accord that suggests a metallic and ozonic smell comparable to the wind before a storm. The result here is pretty much far from the aquatic aura of Truth, in which the watery note is like the morning dew. This prelude is exciting, blissful, pleasurable. It has a stimulating redolence that sticks to the skin and boosts the mood when inhaled. If Kisses were Purple Raindrops, they would be Euphoria drips falling on you.

The drizzly opening evolves into a more herbal, greenish, and odorous accord, rich of crushed leaves of aromatic silver sage, dark opal basil with its clove-like spiciness flavor, and the resinous cedar needles. This interlude is refreshing, crisp, the scent seems to breathe with you.

The base settles into amber essences with Brazilian redwood, a tad of patchouly for creating an earthiness mood, and creamy suede with a very light and smooth leather touch. The overall scent is more into the musky side of fragrances. Having the right fragrance balance, this is not overpowering, neither it is too sweet or aggressively sexy. It is just right for daily use, an office as well as a leisure scent. It has a moderate longevity with a soft sillage. I do find it to be a pleasant scent with a fascinating profile of notes. Loveable in these mutant spring days.

Ginger/pepper/basil with amber

I’m coming back to review this one again, after several years. I wasn’t crazy about this fragrance back then, I didn’t hate it, and was more or less indifferent toward Euphoria. I almost completely forgot about it. However, I’ve had a chance to retry it recently, and wanted to give this cologne a fair shake.

Euphoria Men opens up with it’s spiciness front and center. Ginger is the main attraction, which has really become a note, that I love wearing as of late (particularly in Burberry Brit).

It is joined by its ‘pepper cocktail’ note, which gives a spicy punch to what otherwise would be more of a lighter freshness.

The amber note adds a warm somewhat sweet aroma, that is joined by basil, a bit of smooth suede, and a solid woody base. Euphoria shifts toward being a ginger/herbal spice, with the amber, and wood (lots of fresh cedar).

I like it, the blend of ginger/pepper/basil with amber is really enjoyable. How this cologne smells, has definitely grown in esteem with me, since I’ve last encountered it. What I get most of the wear is the woods: cedar and redwood. Along with, a hefty dose of amber.

This is another CK that smells quite nice...

... and fails when it comes to longevity. The projection radius is ok for about an hour or so (with about a 2ft reach), but it dies off quickly with 3-5 hours of longevity, and a moderate sillage for that time.

It’s a nice masculine scent with a hint of sweetness, but it leaves me longing for a tad bit more in performance. What can I expect from CK though? This isn’t really a surprise.

Screechy rainforest fresh redwoods 90 min performer

The initial spray is like an electrified burnt skunk, with tons of screech and harsh alcoholic ozonics. Man it's offensive. It settles down immediately like a scolded step-child and some pleasant green notes settle in. The "rain accord" is a good descriptor. It's very rain-stormy. I get some wet woody notes, good ones. Like a freshly cut down tree in the south in a rain storm. Heavy patchouli hides behind all of this waiting for its cue to take over. Some Ivory soap hangs out somewhere in there. The thing is just super screechy still. Electric. Reminds me of Kenneth Cole Reaction for Men. Slightly sage-y. Not really any fruit. It's very green and plant like with natural wetness. Lots of wet, woody, tropical-planty accords. A wet fire somewhere in a Brazillian rainforest, as a sign of life, wafts up. This cologne should be re-named "Rainforest".

Sillage is good. It's so intense in its screechiness that I think it's tricking the nose into thinking it's everywhere when it's really hovering 2" above ground zero. I'm still getting quite a bit of the scent 4-6" up though.

The bottle is okay. It's JC Penney-worthy. "Upscale department store" good. Typical Calvin Klein. Not a show-stopper. A simple pane of thick glass hugged with chrome. My 1.0 oz held upside down is like a 1970s school bus seat belt buckle.

The performance is good until it's not. For the first hour the sillage and performance stays the same, and then like a thief it's gone without a trace. I get maybe 90 minutes out of this scent, tops.

It's an okay scent but no beast like Obsession is. It's perfectly mid. Don't get excited about it, but it's a pleasant scent if you can avoid the migraine from the screech.
