Dirrty fruit yogurt
Christina Aguilera (one of my absolute youthful crushes!) has probably always been one of the most efficient and successful women's celebrity fragrance lines - and since "Infinite Xtina" was handed to me unasked in front of a movie theater (?!), I'll just give my current 2 cents on this perfume...
"Infinite Xtina" is exactly what you would imagine a celebrity fragrance to be - but perhaps in a slightly more sophisticated version. A floral-fruity bouquet of synthetics - but not as bad as it might sound! Fruit salad meets flower mix from the gas station. Very sugary, very rich in texture, somewhat sparkling, somewhat pungent. Too much jasmine also makes it a little heavy and oppressive, sultry and sweaty. But never completely off the mark. A girl can wear it. It's easy on the hand and on the skin. But I don't see it on a woman at any time...
Flacon: the girl's bedroom is calling...
Sillage: already clear in the air and in the aisle
Longevity: 7 hours - (not only) okay for a "celebrity fragrance"
Conclusion: sugary pear, watery guava, tangy mandarin, velvety jasmine... Definitely not Xtina's best. But not a bad fragrance either. Especially in the celebrity sector. More for the younger girls. Entry-level everything. But there has to be one.
