Uomo lite.
This smells like Thallium, Dior Homme Cologne 2013 mixed with a sweet coffee note.
It's really nice, but not worth retail. I only bought it, because I wanted it...and couldn't wait for the price to drop.
Awesome office scent, no one will be offended.

I know a lot of people didn't like the original Uomo...
Because of the sweet notes, along with everything else.
Then you should try this bad boy out.
Get a free sample from the nearest Salvatore Ferragamo boutique.
Yes, it has the DNA of the original, but it's not as sweet or dark.
The light version...ah yin and yang if you will.
Hope this helps.
I used six sprays...both wrist, back & front of my neck, chest, and front of my shirt.
Will I buy this again?...No, I don't see myself finishing this bottle. Like I did with Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo (two times over).
Should You Skipped It, Sample It First or Blind Buy It? Sample it (it smells like Uomo & Thallium Yves de Sistelle mix together).

Can you use it as a unisex scent?...Yes!

Is it the old or new formulation? New(First Batch)

Floral bomb
Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Casual Life is marketed as a male fragrance, but can actually be used by members of the opposite sex, too.
It's opening is a blast of florals, and it stays more or less like that throughout its 3-hour life span. Not bad, but nothing to write home about, either. This scent leans toward the younger crowd (people in their 20's) and is sharp on opening, gradually softens until it whimpers into the night by 21/2 to 3 hours. 6/10

Lemon Tiramisu for Gourmand Fans!
When a fragrance is called "Casual Life" and promises a citrusy freshness in its pyramid, I can't resist for long... And yes, right after spraying it on, I switch to casual mode, slow my breathing, think about chilling in hammocks, and imagine hearing smooth jazz from somewhere. That's the kind of feeling this Uomo flanker from Ferragamo seems to promise.

But it's not quite like that - at least not for me. Because soon after spraying, alongside the citrusy freshness, a strong coffee praline-like note becomes noticeable when sniffing my skin. Well, to each their own... Meanwhile, at about arm's length, a finely tuned blend of citrus, floral, and gourmand emerges - for about half an hour. After that, the top notes begin to recede a bit, allowing the praline to take center stage in the projection. That's the moment I prefer to slip into the background. Because gourmand isn't really my thing...

Yet Casual Life is quite honest. It carries the praline in its heart, and there it is. However, here it’s called "Iced Coffee," which can also pass for Tiramisu, thus confirming its relationship to the Uomo classic. With about 60%, it now asserts itself against the citrus, while the violet remains perceptible but proves to be a bit too sweet and out of place. After about 3-4 hours, the base notes make their appearance, with the overall tone of the fragrance becoming increasingly soft and rounded due to the musk and the woods used (here, a white cedar is at work, which has nothing rough about it). In this respect, the Tiramisu reduces back to about 50%, and Casual Life becomes quite balanced and pleasantly light towards the end.

Well, ultimately I ordered this treat, even though I should have known that this praline hit, despite all the citrus, wouldn't quite suit me. But that's what experiments are for ;-) My slight aversion to gourmand shouldn't lead to the conclusion that this fragrance is somehow bad. On the contrary, it could be a hit for gourmand fans, as something truly unusual is woven here: lightly tart citrus freshness paired with pronounced praline sweetness, both well balanced. Thus, this flanker is a thoroughly harmonious scent and has decent power on a shirt for 7-8 hours, also in terms of sillage.

I usually don't comment on the bottle, but this one has something nice: a sprayer designed like a cap, with the recessed mechanism preventing accidental spraying - really cool.

Overall, a rather successful fragrance that I recommend for use in spring and autumn, especially for leisure. While it's not quite suitable for me, it’s definitely a tip for gourmands with a penchant for invigorating freshness. Because its powerful citrus holds up until the end and is harmoniously balanced with a praline Tiramisu, which is called Iced Coffee in this Uomo :)

Where is the Casualness?
Casual is my favorite word when it comes to dress code for an invitation.

I always feel somewhat overdressed in fine attire.

That's why I was excited about the Casual Life sample - especially since I already liked the Uomo EdT.

I spray the Casual on the left and the Uomo EdT on the right.

Well, I must say, the EdT with its soft spiciness appeals to me much more.
And the hoped-for casualness is unfortunately not found in Casual either.
On the contrary - I perceive it as rather strict - a note that thankfully does not occur in Uomo EdT.
The promised coffee scent also remains hidden from me.
Instead, there is a bitter woodiness that is further intensified by the bitter lemon peel.
The other ingredients fade away behind the rustic wooden wall.

Perhaps it suits some gentlemen well - but in my circle, there is no suitable recipient for this fragrance.

I can't imagine it on ladies at all.

Casual Life for Summer
Salvatore Ferragamo Casual Life has been my summer fragrance on really warm days since last year. I purchased the 100ml bottle on sale at a perfume store and unfortunately couldn't test it, but for the price, it was worth the risk.
When it's so warm that you don't really want to wear anything spectacular, Casual Life is just right. The scent is not particularly exciting and not a fragrance experience, but it's quite okay. A bit more freshness and a bit more citrus would have made the fragrance even better, in my opinion. The longevity and sillage are not exactly outstanding. The bottle and packaging don't impress me either. Nevertheless, I find that this fragrance can be taken seriously. It simply has something about it that reminds me of summer.
This year, it feels somewhat unnecessary given the temperatures.

Very casual, citrus covers the faint tiramisu. Initially dissatisfied with his elusive nature, now it's easy wear at the office

Tiramisu, iced coffee, ...a whistleblower told me that next up is Ferragamo's crème brûlée with Lake Constance trout. I'm curious ^^

Iced coffee with lemon and a proper dose of violet leaf on top. Deliberately eccentric but not well-executed. No one needs this.

Fresh notes paired with a lovely iced coffee scent. If you like the original, you might like this one too. Easy to wear, performance is so-so.

Not your typical shower gel freshness! Fresh, yes, but also a bit spicy-woody. Not bad at all, it awakens fondness in me!

Killer start that almost knocks me out... in a negative way!
Very sharp and unpleasant.
Then too synthetic.
I can't recommend it.

Unfortunately, the Ambroxan really intensifies the synthetic notes. It scratches the nose. It could have been really great because it’s creative. Coffee is noticeable.
