Faint!
André Courrèges is a French designer known for his "space age" clothes in geometric shapes and primary colors. He claims to have invented the miniskirt. I believe him. Two years ago, he created this ultra modern fragrance so splendid I thought I might faint while smelling it. It's fresh and fruity in the top, grapefruit doing its bright thing. Then come the beautiful florals, deepened by lotus, supported by amber and musk. It's akin to Amethyst which I discovered the other day. Both have exceptional florals sandwiched between a marvelously effective fruity top and a rich, non-obvious base. Whenever I smell it, I want to wash off any other perfume I'm wearing and douse myself in this. Rose de Courrèges made the quarter finals in my sniff fest still underway of 96 rose perfumes.
