Feeling good is a secret weapon

This one is really really beautiful and an easy to adore day wear, all year around perfume.

Clean, nutty, creamy, resplandecent and elegant. Good vibes but smart and formal enough. Like your favorite white good fashion high quality cotton shirt, but transformed into a perfume. It makes you look cool but what is far more important, it makes you feel happy and secretly powerful.

Extra bonus for keeping it accesible. Moderate projection, lasts for 6 to 8 hours, depending on temperatures.

I don't quite feel like cheering

L'Eau de Liesse, the water of joy, is the name of this fragrance from the very special house of Courrèges. It doesn't make me cheer, but it is a very solid fragrance for women. Mind you: a women's fragrance. Although declared unisex, this fragrance is difficult to wear for men.

At the beginning, you are greeted by a strong alcohol powder immediately after spraying. Not so pleasant, but fortunately the alcohol disappears after a few minutes. What remains is the tart, powdery side that I know from the usual men's fragrances in this area, such as L'Homme, Dior Homme Intense (2011), Luna Rossa Black or Gentleman Givenchy Eau de Parfum. Only much more feminine.
L'Eau de Liesse delights with a progressive progression: as the powder dominance decreases, the sweetness comes to the fore, joined by a lovely florality, and it is now clear at the latest that this is a good fragrance for relaxing, but certainly also works well for dates, because it has a certain heaviness that suits a special evening. Change is the name of the game, the powderiness is lost, the sweetness also recedes, the floral takes on a tart edge, but never becomes bitter.
A fragrance that shimmers in all the colors of the rainbow. It is beautiful to experience, and it is wonderful how skillfully it blends together, how well it fits together. This fragrance is masterfully created in terms of its progression. Olfactorily, however, it offers nothing new. It's all been there before, it's all been smelled before, but at least it's not all in a row, in one perfume.

This watery fragrance has a respectable sillage that lingers for a good 4 hours. Overall, the fragrance lasts a little over 7 hours before it becomes skin-deep. The only thing I dislike a little is the unspectacular, monotonous bottle. The shape and color monotony may be classic in the newer Courrèges fragrances, but this won't win any beauty awards.

Like a feather in the wind...

So beautiful, so fine and so noble. An incredibly beautiful fragrance for everyday life. By everyday I mean that the fragrance is quiet and gives me a feeling of security. It's so soft and powdery, like little clouds of powder that swirl happily around you. Quiet and delicate like a feather in the wind..

Although no green notes are listed, I strangely smell something green in the opening. Like freshly mown grass or fresh hay. God knows where these associations come from. Perhaps from the neroli? In the drydown, these "green" associations disappear and the iris is really radiant but super creamy, warm and soft, not cold as it can be with iris from time to time. The very present heliotrope note is out of this world. It comes towards you like a warm, powdery embrace. It has been a long time since I smelled such a noble fragrance. Noble and very cozy, warm. Kashmir sweater associations without ifs and buts..

The durability on my difficult skin is average. Sillage is very quiet. A fragrance that I like incredibly well. It's actually too quiet for me, but it's so beautiful that I find it hard not to buy it. Well, I find the bottle creepy but you can hide it..

Sunny creaminess

For me, it is very warm and comforting, although it is supposed to be a floral fragrance. Normally, I tend to be less floral, but for me, the powderiness prevails here and that's exactly what I like so much. Heliotrope comes through bombastically here and really makes me feel upbeat. I am immediately happy and cheerful when I wear it. For me, it's a great everyday fragrance that has been well received everywhere so far.
