Feeling good is a secret weapon

This one is really really beautiful and an easy to adore day wear, all year around perfume.

Clean, nutty, creamy, resplandecent and elegant. Good vibes but smart and formal enough. Like your favorite white good fashion high quality cotton shirt, but transformed into a perfume. It makes you look cool but what is far more important, it makes you feel happy and secretly powerful.

Extra bonus for keeping it accesible. Moderate projection, lasts for 6 to 8 hours, depending on temperatures.

it is perfume!

Have you ever tested a perfume and it just sort of smells like perfume? Tell me you know what I mean. I had high hopes for the iris/heliotrope/macadamia combo, but I can barely detect any discrete notes at all. Just a generic musky-floral soup.

Like a Feather in the Wind..

So beautiful, so delicate, and so noble. An incredibly beautiful fragrance for everyday wear. By everyday, I mean that the scent is subtle and gives me a feeling of security.. It is so soft and powdery, like little powder clouds that happily swirl around you.. Quiet and fine like a feather in the wind..

Although no green notes are listed, I strangely smell something green in the opening. Like freshly mowed grass or fresh hay. Where these associations come from, only God knows. Maybe from the neroli?? In the drydown, these "green" associations disappear, and the iris truly shines, but super creamy, warm, and soft, not cold as iris can sometimes be. The very present heliotrope note is out of this world. Like a warm, powdery hug that comes towards you. It's been a long time since I've smelled such a noble fragrance. Noble and very cozy, warm.. Cashmere sweater associations without a doubt..

The longevity on my difficult skin is weak to mediocre. Sillage is very quiet, actually almost non-existent. A scent that I like incredibly well. Actually, it's too quiet for me, but it's so beautiful that I find it hard not to buy it.. Well, I find the bottle creepy, but you can always hide it..

For me, it is very warm and cozy, even though it is supposed to be a floral scent. Normally, I tend to avoid floral fragrances, but here the powderiness prevails, and that is exactly what I love so much. Heliotrope comes through spectacularly and truly lifts my spirits. I feel instantly happy and cheerful when I wear it. For me, it's a great everyday scent that has been well received everywhere so far.

Decluster Approach - Fails

I am currently in the process of reducing my collection.
All passionate collectors know how difficult that is.
I have made it a goal: to use one fragrance generously every morning and then consider in the evening whether it is still needed.
My colleagues appreciate it, by the way, but that's another topic.
L'Eau de Liesse came into my collection about 2 years ago.
I liked everything about it: the bottle and the scent. I would have chosen a slightly different color for the bottle, but otherwise, it's top-notch.
Unfortunately, it hasn't been used all that often.
With 10 sprays, it went into the decluster test.
At first, I smell a lovely, powdery sweetness. Neroli, iris, and heliotrope are very noticeable. It is sweet; I think it could have benefited from a little less sweetness.
And I think: 5 sprays could be enough...
It is more of a subtle candidate, which suits it well.
Throughout the day, a delicate powdery musk note comes around again and again. I like that.
But only I can really smell it. My surroundings get less of it.
But it is still incredibly beautiful. You feel comfortable; it is not overwhelming. The colleagues are happy too.
A lovely candidate if you want to smell quietly and delicately.
After about 5 hours, in my opinion, it is resprayable.
Decluster result: must stay and should be used more often because it's exactly my thing for quiet, unobtrusive days.

For my taste, it's quite powerful due to the aroma chemistry. I could love it more if it were softer. The heliotrope sweetness is enchanting, but the powder overload is less so.
