Bland, Stale Water

Dana Black Lace is a wonderful name that doesn't live up at all it. Try as many times as I could, I just could not discern any specific notes from Black Lace. I was hoping for the tea and bergamot to announce itself since they are the two top notes, but neither could be heard. Not even a powdery rose could be appreciated, which I could live with. No woods, which I found strange, since woods comprise the majority of the bottom. Just bland, stale water. Bland, stale water that you can't really smell. Perhaps this was a bad batch, but after a number of tries on this new bottle, I gave up and sent it to a new home.

A Gentle Breeze ....

You can actually write a short and concise comment about this fragrance, as it is only briefly and subtly noticeable when sprayed on.

I have NEVER encountered such a weak scent as Black Lace. Once sprayed, you smell a bit of alcohol, then after three to five more sprays, aha ... something else comes through, a subtle floral scent, I think it's the rose and the violet, then freshness, and unfortunately that’s it.

Berries and tea? If there are berries, then they are very, very subtle, and with the tea, the bag has just been dipped in water, not noticeable to me.

It’s not really woody either ... Fading: Not a must-have!

Well, the bottle is quite nice!
