An evening at the seashore
A seaside facet of Loewe's Solo collection. Gorgeous never-ending neroli on a salty mineralic backdrop, like a fading memory of the humid summer air at the salt flats.
Once the initial peppery citrus cloud dissipated in the first hour, it settled close to the skin and stayed there, unchanging, for ~7 hours more. I tried it on both myself and my partner. My partner's skin brought out mastic, amber and hints of frankincense after the first hour of wear; on me it was mostly just the salty airy neroli until the very end. Both versions smelled delicious in their own right though, so I'm not complaining. It's like an idealized version of your skin smell after a day out near the seashore :)
Great for daily wear during warm half of the year, though (like any other perfume) I would use it with caution during the hottest most humid parts of the summer.
