Delicious (Spekulatius) biscuits, even if they should fall into the tea when dipping
Hello there, smelling flasks, welcome to a new comment, this time again from the Demeter series. You know that I love to describe and test these scents, and thanks to a nice perfume shop I got my hands on a new scent, which I had to comment on.
It's about Ginger Cookie,... yeah, Cookie! KEKSE! Who doesn't like biscuits? They come in all shapes and flavors, whether regular, vegan or even diabetic. Everybody loves to eat them, especially now in the cool autumn and winter time, when you can enjoy them best with tea. Is there anything better than dipping your biscuit in hot tea? I know, with you the cookie always breaks off and makes the tea slushy,... my goodness, you are even too incapable to dip a cookie, but usually dunking a cookie makes a cookie especially tasty, if you can manage it :D
Anyway, you can see if you want to smell like cookies anyway, but with Demeter fragrances it's mostly about simulating a certain scent anyway, which would also explain why there are so many Demeter fragrances around.
But enough babbling, let's have a whiff!
Well, that's it. It just smells the same from beginning to end, without changing, except of course that its intensity diminishes with time.
The bottle! As with all Demeter fragrances, the bottle is only functional as beautiful and thus only serves as a storage container for the fragrance. The name of the fragrance is aptly written on a bar in cookie colour, but otherwise it is overloaded with text and generally quite unattractive.
Apart from that, the fragrance also reminds you a little bit of Christmas, a great time. And if you take care of yourself and don't do anything stupid, you might be able to enjoy a small but nice Christmas despite the miserable pandemic :)
Anyway, I will put up my christmas tree shortly before the end of November and probably you will get a new christmas blog from me sometime in December, of course with pictures of hangovers and all that, at least this is the plan :D
Well then, I wish you a nice evening, take care of yourself as I said and see you next time :)

The smell:
The fragrance begins immediately with a familiar biscuit scent. You can smell these baked goods quite authentically and with the strong ginger scent it reminds you of spicy biscuits such as Spekulatius and the like. Well, that's it. It just smells the same from beginning to end, without changing, except of course that its intensity diminishes with time.
The Sillage and the durability:
The sillage is not very strong, but not really weak either. For a while you will be able to smell the scent, especially yourself, again and again. Shelf life is actually quite okay for a Demeter fragrance, it can be smelled on the skin for about four hours. The bottle! As with all Demeter fragrances, the bottle is only functional as beautiful and thus only serves as a storage container for the fragrance. The name of the fragrance is aptly written on a bar in cookie colour, but otherwise it is overloaded with text and generally quite unattractive.
Conclusion:
Soo! I liked the smell. It's not a fragrance I would wear now, because it smells really authentic like cookies, but it smells great. For me it is one of those scents that you can put on the table to sniff it again and again. Even if you then run the risk of getting droolingly ravenous and eating tons of cookies (or going crazy when you notice that you have no cookies at home and the supermarket has long since closed... oh that's bad! DD).Apart from that, the fragrance also reminds you a little bit of Christmas, a great time.
