Rose and Suede
Today I grabbed Man Rose blindly from the sample package. Sprayed directly onto the skin without reading the label. Immediately I get a fresh rose and some ethereal citric, which makes the rose look even fuller. Nothing here is heavy or exuberant, but almost monolithic. Classic. That's nice.
As if the scent was only made to pay homage to the queen of flowers.
A little bit of oud flares up when spraying on and immediately hides behind the floral main actress again. It will resonate in the following as a woody-smoky nuance and form a counter pool to the rose, without ever dominating the foreground.
It is similar with a light leather chord and wood tones, which together bring a light roughness and also warm chords. Also here everything sounds in harmony and never breaks out.
What I love about this fragrance is that it's all there right away. That it surrounds me with an aura that is both strong and fragile. The soft rose chords play freshly, while wood, resin and oud, with their edges, draw a warm profile.
Man Rose is a smoky woody scent. Dominated by light leather and rose.
For me a new reference.
(and definitely very well unisex wearable)
