Strange confusion without a clear line
A fragrance that leaves me with a thousand question marks. I had high hopes for it and ordered a sample full of anticipation. Somehow I smell a little bit of all the fragrance notes, but somehow the whole thing doesn't smell complex. The chocolate note is quite dominant, but after about half an hour an unpleasant disturbing note develops. Is that the Ambermax? Somehow the fragrance doesn't smell like her and not like him, if you know what I mean. It seems unfinished to me, unbalanced, without a common thread, without a recognizable line. Somehow everything doesn't really fit together. I ask myself, where is the fragrance going? What does it want to tell me? When and where could I wear it? Very strange. I'm sorry that I can't describe the fragrance better. Perhaps the whole thing would have been more beautiful, would have smelled more pleasant if the perfumer had opted for a purely natural perfume? Who knows? For me, the composition is definitely not a candidate for purchase. Sure, there may be people who think it's great. It's just a matter of taste. Don't get me wrong, the perfume doesn't smell repulsive or nasty, but for me it's just nothing half and nothing whole and has nothing that captivates or catches me. It also smells flat on drydown. What remains after a good hour is a delicate, woody chocolate note with the aforementioned, indefinable disturbing note.
