Unobtrusive Summer Fragrance
Here it is, my first comment. I have been a silent reader for quite some time and I am always happy when I can benefit from the extensive database or meaningful comments. In this regard, I am now trying to give something back to this site, especially since this seems to be a less noticed perfume.
Through this forum, I recently had the pleasure of receiving three samples from the brand Victorinox, which were promptly delivered to me as postcards and piqued my interest. A stay in Düsseldorf ultimately led me to their flagship store on Königsallee, and of course directly to the fragrance shelf, where other unknown bottles were also kept. The saleswoman was very helpful and provided me with spray samples of my two spontaneous favorites - Forest and Classic Sport - which allows me to share the following impression.
The bottle is discreet, the design and Victorinox logo convey quality, and the spray head is retractable. The color accent of the orange pouch with the carabiner is interesting. It's something a bit unusual and could certainly be used to store other items. However, this was not included with the test bottle on the shelf, so it remains just a theoretical consideration.
The fragrant content itself starts off unspectacularly; apple and a rosy aroma do emerge - but everything feels rather synthetic with a note that inevitably reminds me of paint or lacquer.
After about ten minutes, it becomes slightly spicier, sharper, and woodier. The scent remains rosy, and lavender is now perceptible. There is a certain similarity to Abercrombie's Fierce, but in a more unobtrusive and diluted form. The longevity on my skin is weak; after an hour, I can hardly perceive anything, apart from a slight trace of soapy lavender when "actively sniffing" it.
All in all, it could be a nice summer fragrance - I cannot recommend it due to its longevity, especially since the scent did not excite me too much overall.
