Tonka Deluxe starts dominantly almondy, marzipan-like, which weakens after about 10 minutes, somehow becoming a little duller. I can't detect bergamot, rosemary and jasmine, but a very light smoky note. With a lot of imagination, I can also easily detect pine needles hidden somewhere in the back. No note bothers or annoys me here. At some point, after about an hour, the fragrance becomes a little darker and woodier. It takes on a slightly soapy note (could be due to the rose), but this is hardly worth mentioning. The composition is only slightly sweet, warm and caressing. Definitely wearable unisex. All the components blend together harmoniously. The fragrance is quite potent for the first hour, and if I spray it too much and too close to my nose, it can make me feel a little cuddly. But I am also very sensitive and not a yardstick. Sprayed further away, e.g. on the back of the neck, I am enveloped by a beautifully enveloping, warming fragrance. Incidentally, the oud is pleasantly used here and not overpowering, the incense is only slightly perceptible. A successful fragrance, in my opinion. It has something.
